I can totally identify with feeling too old in the crowd. I went to a few Bluesfest shows last summer where I felt conspicuously *old*; I still enjoyed myself, but it wasn't quite the same. My thing was metal and new metal as a teen (I still really, really enjoy it); nowadays, though, I'm sure I'd stand out in the crowd as too old.

LOL, cherish the fact that you're "too young" for some of the odd trivia like old venue names; getting older happens waaaay too fast - although growing up is, as always, optional

Aw, now you've got me missing the *old* capital music hall, formerly the Liquor Dome (and back in DH's day, RJ's Boom Boom Saloon)! I loved the GWAR show because everyone who was there was having such a great time; Ottawa concert crowds tend to be pretty ho-hum a lot of the time, but that was one show where everybody came to par-tay

You'll have an awesome time! I went all inclusive in Mexico and just spent my days relaxing, tanning and using the swim up bar to its fullest haha.

Def take a day trip somewhere if you can too, I went downtown Puerto Vallarta one day and it was SO much fun.

well dietitians can be vegetarians right? They just have to " learn " all the info about what meat offers nutrition wise I suppose. Truth be told I was horrified in that butchers room, the saw that cuts the meat reminds you of horror flicks.

Oh and 1 day a week we got to put on our white crisp uniform with name badge and we walked around the kitchen training at the local Hospital here, " tasting " things from the big vats! Plus each week you worked in a different area while you were there, so maybe butchers room or pastry area, etc. I loved it.

No, I am not a dietitian, but in high school at the point that you entered grade 11 you had to choose either the last 2 years to study nursing OR dietary supervision, and I chose that. I really really wanted to be one, but my family had no $$ for higher ed, so I had to find a job.

Hi. Just now read your rep comment from many months ago (I don't often look at that stuff) and you said my comments were good but might make me hated here. Not a problem, at all, I'm just a name on the computer screen, and if someone hates me for expressing common sense, that's something they will have to deal with. I have no problem with what I said, that's why I said it. It's what I think, not open for debate even if some haters want to do that. Why argue? Why not just think for yourself and do what you think is right and let others do the same?

Thanks for the rep. You reminded me of being back in the homeless shelter. One day a bunch of them decided to go get free blackberries and within the first month ran up hundreds of $$$ in charges knowing full well they wouldn't be able to pay the bill.
