Hello I go to Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute.
I am back in Thunder Bay now and as of Wednesday I had not yet received it. I am sure it will show up. I can leave you feed back if you need me too. Tracy
re: Glade MIR for $5 PC GC...I simply asked if it was okay to use coupons on purchase of the items I was planning to submit a receipt for; she stated that was okay except for FPC. If you are really unsure, I would suggest you call Glade...I'm sure they won't mind clarifying this for you.
HAHA no worries, it's my fault since I originally messed it up.... No need to send them back... I will go and check your list, I will pm you if I find something, If not then you can just keep them and when I do find something you can just take it for that....
do u have a SPC card for students? I really wanna order something and get 10"% off
No, I'm not sure what's in it. I only know early about the coupons that go up in the stores. I WISH I had thew inside scoop on the insert. Boy oh boy, I wish!
I am going there tomorrow I will ask about the games they couldn't get what I was talking about on the phone LOL thanks for the reps
Thank-you Lynnie!
No I haven't
Buy the SDM gift card. You won't get 20Xpoints on that, but you will always get regular points. The purchase of the SDM gift card and the purchase of stuff to get your 20Xpoints are two different things. Perhaps you should buy the $75 SDM gift card first and then go back into the store to your 20X shopping. That's what I do.
Hi Lynnie, I'll do my best! -------------------------- 1. If you wanted to buy a SDM gift card and have $75 of value on it, it can be done. I think I've seen the SDM gift cards in $10, $20, $50, $100 and $200 denominations. I don't think I've seen any of the SDM gift cards in $25 or $75 denominations. So, you might have to buy a $50 card and then ask the cashier to put another $25 of value onto it. I've never put extra $ value onto a card. I've always just bought a new card every time. Some cashiers don't know how to put extra $ value onto a card and it can be a pain. There's also been some discussion about whether you'll get the regular points on the EXTRA amount added. You know, I think the simplest thing would be to just buy a $50 card and a $20 card and a $10 card (or a $5 card if they have those). And, of course, be sure to get your Optimum points card scanned so you can get those regular points. The "Parents Load & Lend" cards come in two parts. On one part, the parent (or whoever) keeps it and uses it to load $ value onto the other card, which the student has. It's designed for parents who want to control the amount of spending their kids in school can do. I'm not sure if that's what you want. BTW, if you were thinking of doing the bonus points event this weekend where you have to buy at least $75 worth of stuff, then don't forget that there's taxes on that, too. If you bought $75 of stuff that has both GST and PST on it then your total bill would be $84. Be sure you have enough on your SDM gift card to pay the whole bill, including taxes. 2. I don't know if the SDMs in your area sell bus tickets. I live in BC and I buy my bus tickets at SDM but I don't get any points for that. I think it's the same in Ontario. I don't think you can get points on the purchase of transit tickets at any SDM in Canada. You can get regular points on the purchase of the SDM gift card that you use to pay for the bus tickets. For example: If you wanted to buy $20 in bus tickets at SDM you could just buy them and pay cash for them but get no points. Or, buy a $20 SDM Gift Card (and get regular points for THAT). Then go buy your $20 of bus tickets and pay with your gift card. 3. First of all, no, you can't just buy a $75 gift card and get the bonus points. In the fine print it says that "Electronic gift cards" are excluded. :-( I don't know if you can actually buy ANYTHING in the store and get the bonus points during the 20Xpoints event this weekend. They say "spend $75 or more on cosmetics or fragrances" but I've heard some posters say they've bought anything and everything and they still get their bonus points. I wish I knew for sure because I was thinking of going and buying maybe one little Nivea for Men product and then a bunch of other stuff that is not cosmetics or fragrances and seeing if it could work. I'm probably not going to try it. You could ask one of the staff at the store whether Olay counts or whatever else counts. If you're really counting on getting a 20Xpoints deal to work, maybe you should wait for a regular 20Xpoints event where you can buy just about anything in the store. Be careful of what you read from other people. Sometimes I think they just want to brag a bit and they say they did things that don't seem to follow the rules at SDM. These tricks might work for some people but they might not work for you. If you don't have a lot of money then you want to be a little more careful. Of course, if you ever did do a big purchase and it didn't get you the points you wanted then I suppose you could just return everything and try to get your money back but I don't think the cashier would be very happy. 4. There's one SDM I go to sometimes and their clearance shelf has a price tag for every single different kind of thing that is there and the item is described on the tag. That's the place where, technically, you're more likely to get a SCOP because it's really clear that the tag says that exact item is for this price and it should scan correctly. I wouldn't count on doing a SCOP unless the tag on the shelf describes the item exactly. ------------------------- I wish I could give you exact answers to all your questions but there's some things that you just won't know will work until you try it. If the rules say it should work then try it. Don't be afraid to ask one of the staff if you don't understand the fine print or anything. Just don't make it sound like you're trying to do something really sneaky. One final thing, when you do get enough points together to do a redemption and get some free stuff, don't forget that you have to pay the taxes on that out of your own pocket. I'll bet in a few years it'll be ME that's asking YOU questions on how these things work. Take care and ciao 4 now. -mcminsen
