I know!! (we are all the same) Hey pass the $$ over here I will find a use for it. I love it.
I remember being silly once too in a thread where I gave someone the great advice to come and do all my laundry or housework, ( something like that) it was their own fault for posing the question I say. Some others said similar things, it was all in good fun.
I like the sound advice that you give us in here. Opinions are one thing, knowledge of the situation is valuable, so thanks for sharing yours, I appreciate that. have a great weekend.
Yes, and they ( DH) are mostly clueless as to all the things that are in my head or on a list to do each day. I am blessed, I just laugh at it now.
Did I answer your question to your satisfaction?
It is scoliosis which indeed is chronic, however I am always hopeful. Thank you for asking.
TY very kindly for the rep
I've teased FP about switching Quincy cats - her brat would be very well behaved when he got back home, if only so he wouldn't have to go back to the evil human that makes cats do dog tricks & the dog that worships cats (Lily can go a little over the top ). She's met my Quincy (I've brought the boy to the downtown SCer meets in my purse) & she marvels at his ability to stay calm & sleep through the meets.
It's likely because of his less than perfect childhood on the mean streets of downtown Toronto (my neighbour & I were feeding a little family of strays - mom, stepdad, 2 kittens & an uncle). Lily dog decided to become a cat rescuer & ended up taking 14 cats off the street. We found homes for 13. Then there was Quincy, who attacked the nice person who came to see him & offer him a home. Can't imagine why anyone would be put off by a tiny ball of fluff growling & shredding the skin from one's hand? Of the three options I had (shelter where he would not live another day, back outside in freezing temps, or keep him), there really was only one choice. & now he's my 'jealous boyfriend' who has to know where I've been at all times.
BTW, how can anyone NOT be pet people. I find these types Highly Suspicious. . That would be Lily dog (who is a cat person) & Quincy cat (who is a people person, well, actually he only really likes me, although he's been known to let little girls hug & kiss him). As for me, I'm more of a dog person, which is why poor Quincy cat is forced to do dog tricks.
Give Nika lots of hugs & kisses from me (I'm afraid my roommates aren't really dog people ). I see Nika has a new calling as a cat mommy. Good thing you found Reggie an amazing home, otherwise you know exactly where he'd stay (how do you think I ended up with Quincy cat ). If you want someone to talk to, I'm around. I know how hard it is to lose a family member.
Yes, I'm right in Midland and I work in Penetang. I just moved to the area 1 year ago. I hear someone in Waverly is suppose to make the best buttertarts.
Hey just saw one of your posts and you live near Midland....I'm in Midland
Thanks Distinctive is a good way to describe Q lol, I adore him but he is a pain in the butt I actually tried to change Autumn's name (the shelter named her that) but nothing stuck since I had known her at the shelter for so long as Autumn
Apartment, we just moved here last month and agreed to wait and see how they were reacting to each other in the new space before adding another cat. Quincy is 3 in Feb and a playful brat lol : http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2777/...d493670d07.jpg and Autumn was a semi-feral at a shelter I volunteered at who was 'running out of options' despite being a no kill so I fostered her and decided to keep her, she is a little princess now: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2348/...707ef83910.jpg
I am, I will have to talk to my BF about it, its an idea we have been throwing around for a while but not ever had a concrete agreement on, but Quincy needs a little buddy, our female likes a quiet life and just doesnt want to play with him.
Yes. I found the reviews to be very mixed. like many "natural" remedies. . .I find what helps one doesn't help another. . .but I do know people that it HAS helped soooo. . .
did you not hear about those foot baths being bunk? I sure did. They say you might as well flush your $$ down the toilet. I wish there was a cure like that. Massage therapy helps some.
I do know that my kids, even though they all were brought up with the Bible will probably not seek out it's wisdom for everyday things in life. They will probably " Google " everything, lol
hello! Happy Canada day. Ya, the whole " dog " thing. Sometimes I wish there was a perfect solution, but there are just too many unknowns, so like you said I shouldn't feel bad, gotta protect myself. have a beautiful weekend!
ok thanks, good advice. I once sprayed a dog with pepper spray that came charging at me from a distance. I panicked, grabbed my can, closed my eyes and squeezed the trigger. When I opened my eyes the dog was yelping and trying to wipe its tongue on a patch of grass. Then the owner comes running and yells " she has no teeth!! " Well lady, how the heck could I know your dog had no teeth? Thank God i didn't spray her in the eyes. I never used the spray since. The feeling is horrible.
Oh I admit am scared of them, but it is ingrained ( as I deliver mail, you know ) but I do so feel so sorry for owners that truly know their own animals and they usually are the sweetest things. Kinda like judging a book by the cover isn't it? Take care!
see why would you want that? lol ugly looking things with their hair cuts a ball of fur at the tip of the tail... god what are they trying to do tune in to the poodle network!!!
maybe they should ban the poodle...for noise & bitting... lol had one of those..aggresive little thing
Well he's beautiful... I find it takes one bad news story and it ruins it for all. Enjoy him It's to bad... my grandmas was just a pitbull..as far as I know... He was great...I loved sleeping over when they had him, he was playful and loved to go out in the yard and run one of the best dogs I ever got to know .."petey" was it's name... i wanted to keep him but my dad wouldn't bring him home...lol but at the time we had a lab..great dog
its pretty new.. just need to paint my 2 daughters rooms and do some things like that but otherwise its move in ready! eventually we'll re-do the floors and the kitchen but its not really in need - got lucky!
well, the home imspection takes place on saturday and we've set the closing date as march 14th. the sooner the better for us since we live in a 2 bdrm and we just had our 2nd baby back in october so she'll be needing her own room soon. the house we bought is empty - as most usually are in angus since theyre military postings- so the sooner the better
its 100 year old home so altho we've completely redone everything it certainly has its imperfections. i think it takes a certain buyer for a house of this age. no, the 2nd offer was the one we decided on as it was a better suit for us.
