Thanks for the rep!! Yup, that's me! Humble......NOT!! Lol!
Happy Long Weekend
I loved them thanks. And laughter is the best medicine. I find if I'm not leaving the techs in stitches around the cancer centre during my treatments I'm not doing my job right.
Just saw your message now, wow, that is a lot of stuff to be dealing with all at once! Yikes. I'm so sorry about your friends. Glad to hear your Mom is getting better, and hopefully everything goes okay for your nephew. *hugs* And happy belated anniversary! 30 years is certainly something to be proud of!
Thank you for repping me this past week! Hope the week ahead is good to you!
How are you doing hun? Long time no talk. I've been so busy this summer, it's catching up with me too. Now dh wants to take 2 more grandkids and another dd out for a weekend...or week. Oh my, my poor insanity will be gone, I just found it yesterday LOL By the way, thanks for the rep. I'm trying to head back to rep jail for a bit but they must respect my opinion cause I was able to give out 75 reps yesterday. Today I'm trying for 100 I used to get thrown in rep jail for 24 hours if I gave over 50, hmmmm my how times have changed, LOL. Have a great day!
Oh yeah? We love it, and I think it suits him well. How are things in your corner of the world?
Thanks for the anniversary wishes!
I thoroughly enjoy your financial input! Thank you!!
Thanks for the rep!
Thank you, MQ! It's going to be a long haul, many months, and it's so strange to have to actually THINK how to move one's foot again! Walking all my life and it feels like the first time! Have a great weekend, Hon!
yeah, I too have funds earmarked every month for things I have to pay rather than for something I'd want instead....oh well " someday" .
a lifetime guarantee? I would never have imagined that Dr's would offer that clause with Lasik, good for them. Are you contemplating doing Lasik in the near future?
see that is my problem with it, how on earth do you know what kind of Dr. you are going to get? Is it recommendations from people who you know that had it done? Do they advertise their good works somewhere? I have no idea how to check out a Dr.'s track record on these procedures, but I do know if anything at all goes wrong that person is without their eyesight ( well o.k. a bit-o-drama here ) but the Dr. will not suffer. Plus these procedures are NOT necessary they are a " preference " because many just hate the inconvenience of their glasses. For me that is not reason enough for the risk, but I am glad so many have benefited.
Lasik is very common, that is the part that worries me.... it is your eyes you are risking here. From what she said about not really minding wearing the glasses and contacts it was her DH who seemed to have an issue with the cost of these things every year. I have known some who were def. NOT pleased with their Lasik outcomes and had to wear glasses still or could not drive at night ( trouble seeing ) etc. Perhaps I am just in that age category ( old! lol ) where I cannot comprehend voluntarily letting someone do something to my eyes, and having to pay them to do it! I hope she gets what she wants.
Thank you Another baby boy! We named him Damian.
aw sweet!
I'm still around, lurking in the background lol! Life has been keeping me very busy. We just had our third child back in April, and the two older boys are out of school for the summer now. I'm already hearing complaints about being bored LOL
I am pretty GMO free, do not eat soy or corn, or wheat. No processed foods either. So wish I could afford to buy all organic, but that is not a reality for the family. I do agree about much of the soil that produce is grown in has very little minerals left in it to give us the nutrients we expect from our produce. I am trying to grow some things in a small garden, but it will not be enough. I sure wonder how my kids will fare once they are on their own, who knows what new poison will be found in our food?
See that has always been my pet peeve. A blanket recommended " any woman over 40 should be bla, bla, bla, Up until now I have gotten all my nutrients through a very healthy diet, ( I am a weirdo that loves veggies ) so I have never believed in taking supplements ( not even those 1 a day multivitamins ). I just felt it was the sellers of these things trying to scare people into thinking they " needed " them. My GP always said if you are getting it through diet then you don't need them. I've had good health so I know I was right in the past, but now at this age I may be more open to 1 or 2 supplements. My next physical will determine what I start to take I suppose.
Happy May! Thanks for repping me!
It was wonderful. We had it at the assembly hall and there were quite a few that were there for the first time How was yours?
