I think this year even though we had 3 meats dishes, I gave DS quite a lot to take home with him so this time I did not make a turkey soup, nor do we have tons left over here. A bit of ham and dressing, some small bits of the white meat, not much.
The day sure goes fast when I am not working, so strange, already got my mail, a pay stub and some small parcel DH ordered for his hobby craft. Kinda bored.

DH has a Ukrainian background so Perogies are a staple, ha ha. I actually used to make them every now and then from scratch, but nowadays the store bought frozen ones are just fine for us. Enjoy yours if ya cook them up later. I just put the pot of water on to boil for them and the pork chops are coated waiting for the oven to preheat.

Ya caught me!! There are pork chops that need to be coated in breading crumbs and cooked, there are perogies that need to be boiled, and panfried, and yet here I sit having laughs!! So I would say my vacation is going just right, lol

wow winstar! Your dog will do her business right on the pad?? That is awesome. If I left those out, one of mine would chew it all up ( he is nuts ). Lousy rain will be with us right through the weekend I hear. Oh well, better that I am not at work.

The inside chores never end winstar, that is why the " motivation " is never there. Well for me anyways that is how it is. I will get one room all refreshed and repainted, then something else needs doing. Ya the weather sucked big ones today, no sun to put a kick in my step when I walked the dogs, glad I did it early though before the sprinkles of rain came. ( dogs smell bad when they get wet, lol)

well win, I bit the BIG bullet and took the vehicle in for some of that work. Figure this is the best time when I am off, I will be less stressed to the final $$ amount when they hand me the bill, lol. I still have not painted that spare bedroom, bought the paint quite some time ago, oh well when I feel like it I guess. Again another early rise day for me, 5:30 this time, so I slept in a bit, ha ha.

That is funny, DH and I used to " make the rounds " when we were dating to a lot of relatives turkey dinners too. That is the correct name, cranberry sauce is delicious. No special plans now, just sit in the sun some more, I was out earlier and came back into the A/C as it was hot.

Hi winstar! Thanksgiving feast done and everyone was truly stuffed! I already put 4 large containers of meat, veg etc, away at the back of the fridge so DS can take them with him tonight. They ( him and g/f ) should eat well this week. ha ha

Oh hello winstar! Yes we are cooking up 3 different meats ( turkey, ham and Prime rib roast) and then all the sides ( squash,carrots roast potatoes, mashed as well, dressing, broccoli, fresh cranberry sauce, and lots of gravy) Pumpkin and Apple pie both, but the thing is, we will send DS home with many meals to last for the week for him and g/f. I am taking a " mini " rest right now while turkey is cooking. Talk to you once it is all done.
