Hello Happy Halloween!

You are soooo correct about loving being inside eh? After 35 years I've earned it, lol. So turkey leftovers are almost done which means I have to cook up meals again this weekend. I am thinking a big pasta for the guys and taco style ground turkey mixture for DD and my wraps to begin with. With the chill in the air I am leaning towards some stew type dishes, we'll see.
So great to have all that employment and $$ but tough on the personal life I see. Well might as well do it now when you are young. Hey I have to pm you for a sec

well I am trying to take things slow, but today I did try lifting just 2 bags with 2 bottles of laundry soap in each to bring them downstairs and holy moly! I thought my back was feeling a little improved, but it sure let me know to put those 2 bags down fast! lol I go between sitting, then my series of stretches, then laying down ( on a hard floor, weird eh?) , but standing and walking seem to be the hardest to do. They must think I am nuts at WM because I have been there each day but I can only take the pain long enough to grab a couple of things, then I go back home. I know about b'day's close to Xmas as DS #1 has that problem too. I usually make a point of wrapping his b'day gift in b'day paper.

well a celebration for your birthday can really happen any day of the year right? Certainly the family will do something eventually. I always think of the unlucky people who have Dec 25th as a birthday, or Jan 1st . I am still off work having physio and other treatments to help get my aching back better. I guess they really are funny things, ( our spine, etc) they take their own sweet time to come around and respond to the stretching, etc.
Not as hot today, just came back from my doing my blood tests, now nice to be sitting in A/C. Have a great day winstar!

aw, cut yourself a break there winstar, you have been working day and night for a while now, there is one thing I know for sure, cleaning
( housework) is always there, it never goes away, so just do it when you are ready. ( well unless yer Mom screams at you! lol!!) I am off work
( again ) as I have back related problems ( they are still not sure what is the cause ) but doing various stretches 3 times a day, plus physiotherapy, hopefully soon I can walk normal again. Nice to see you in the threads again.

Hi winstar! You are at work now I believe. Friday I had the day off work, and what a great day to miss! ( high gusty winds, pelting rain AND Hydro bills came out!! lol) Today is is just as nasty out, but I am cooking and relaxing at home so no biggie. Enjoy your day!

I guess you finally got some down time to relax and play a bit in here, that's good. Things are going pretty much the same here, end of the year coming for DD ( Prom and all that entails)
I am on sc less lately because DD and I are doing a weight loss thing together, and Mom gets to plan, shop, prepare, and portion all the meals for easy picking from the fridge. How did I get so lucky to get stuck with that part of it? lol!! It is what it is eh?

I am so happy for you really! That extra cash will be a great nest egg to have, you are doing it right winstar, work hardest when your body is young and strong! I know many people your age that don't even want to work at one job! They are lazy. Keep doing it till you have had enough. You rock!!

seems like forever! We had a great Easter weekend, weather was quite nice as well, so that helps with the mood too. I am so anxious to get the back yard gazebo and furniture set up, still early though, you can just never trust when a big nasty windy,rainy storm will hit and tear the fabric, etc. Hope you are doing well, I know still hard at work too right?
