Good morning!
Yeah, I am up but hopefully for not long. Since like midnight I have been up every half hour or so with sciatica pain in my left leg. Geez! So this time I stayed up a little bit, hoping I'll be tired enough to sleep longer.
Physiotherapist comes at 11. She is new to me, the other went to work at a hospital.
Cooler today, so yay!
Have a Fab day, everyone!

good morning @Natalka , although you may have already gone back to try and catch some more zzz's before your nurse arrives.
Some good giggles reading back at @GoJays and @Lynn49 comparing their Sailor skills ( swearing ).
Now....I must post this new info I read about before I forget!
I JUST learned ( even though it was discovered a while back apparently ) that the common smell that assaults your sniffer ( and your eyes in some cases ) when entering a public pool or one say in a hotel is mistaken for chlorine.
Personally I always figured " it was the cost of swimming " to tolerate that smell because it meant
that at least the pool was chlorinated ( maybe a bit too much but better safe than sorry right? )
WRONG!
Oh it is chlorinated alright but that distinct and assaulting odour occurs when chlorine and urine combine to make trichloramine!
http://theconversation.com/why-that-...r-health-73936
I also read that many pro swimmers admit they do pee in pools because they figure the chlorine kills it anyways!!!
Also they have linked it to causing asthma...so great eh??

Good morning everyone!!!
@walkonby, what happy news! hahaha!!
Thank you for confirming for me, why I do NOT like public pools. The only time in recent history that I've been in one, was at CasinoRama's spa with my DD, and I figured with the prices we were paying there, and with only 2 other people in the pool, they wouldn't dare piddle in it!! But who knows, huh?
Did you ever read somewhere that pools could have something added that, when anyone pee'd in the pool it would be noticeable? It was probably a hoax, but it sure would be interesting in the kids' backyard pool! hahaha!!!
Still painting, and not terribly satisfied yet, but the work continues. The problem with watercolours is that it needs to dry between applications of layers of paint which is why most people use hairdryers to dry them between those layers or else it'll just end up as mud. But...I prefer to come on here and chat with you all for a while.I hope it turns out to be presentable in the end or it's garbage.
DH is golfing of course, so Jenny and I are home just relaxing; it's a gorgeous sunny day, heading up to something like 23 which is prefect for me, I don't care for really hot heat.
@Natalka, I hope that new nurse is as thorough as your other ones have been (except for one!) and that you're still fast asleep, finally.
Take care, everyone, have a wonderful day!!!

Ugh. I just read that article, @walkonby and it's never going to encourage me to get into a pool ever again! A large public pool of 830,000 litres can contain 75 litres of pee!! Omgoodness. And I always thought that my asthma was exaccerbated by the humidity in one of those places (when our kids were taking swimming lessons), but maybe it was the nitrogen trichloride! I'm going to chat with my DH when he comes home...he'll know that chemical..
Oh...speaking of chemicals, I contacted our NYC hotel and asked if they could put us in Nikola Tesla's room, where he lived for many years and they said they could! I haven't told my DH, but I think he'll get a kick out of it; there's even a plaque on the door with Tesla's name on it!

@Lynn49 sounds cool, hope you have a good time. I see always see these people on YouTube asking for specific rooms. Like the most haunted room at the Stanley hotel etc.
Weird question, I asked a friend if they get lend me literally $1.00 through e transfer and I would pay them back extra. I signed up for a free month of YouTube premium but I didn't realize they would charge $1.00 which was about to hit my bank. They said sure what's your email. They then sent the transfer and it was for $25 and said happy belated birthday. And they don't want me to pay them back. That kind of thing makes me feel weird lol. Their birthday is next month and they say they don't want anything just a card because they only get bills and would like to get mail. What would you send them.

Ew on pool pee!
Lynn, so cool to be in Tesla's room. I saw it online, it's small, but nice view.
Lots of Serbians pilgrimage there.
Very nice physiotherapist! She examined my hurt knee thoroughly, yah some of the poking and pushing hurt, but that's okay.
She wants to try ultrasound on it, so first session will be Thursday.
So nice that it's cooler now, clouds passed without a storm.
Have a nice afternoon!

Lol...it's pretty dang hard to find a large room in mid-town Manhattan with the emenities we like to have. We're only in it to collapse with wine after a day of sight-seeing. And shopping!
Really good news wrt your new therapist. Sbe seems to be on the ball...good luck with the ultrasound treatments!

What a sweet gesture, you're surely blessed.
I'm sure they really don't want "payback"....what I'd do is send a b'day card to him or her, then a card every month for a while, funny ones, sweet ones, just to say you're thinking of them.
It's always nice to get real mail. Not bills...

@GoJays that's the face I made on my last shift at work before 10 days off a few years ago when someone had a noise complaint at 3am. Yup I'll get right on it for sure. I had my bags with me at work to go straight to the airport.
