@flemeth , how awful for you! The pain of a toothache is horrible, and now facing an extraction! I hope your meds kick in soon and relieve your pain and swelling, and as far as screwing in an implant, don't make a snap decision, ok? All the best, flemeth.

Good morning!
@flemeth , Omgoodness can you go back to your dentist for better pain control and a stronger antibiotic? I know they can take a few days to feel they're working, but little comfort now...I hope you find relief soon, Hon.
NFL playoffs continue today, the Cowboys and Dallas (two Texas teams, yay!) both knocked off, now to get rid of those whiney, cheating patriots.
Really enjoyed "Aquaman" with the family yesterday, surprised I liked it!
Have a lovely day, everyone!

Oh @flemeth - how awful for you, sure hoping it gets better for you very soon!
Felt so very good to have the shower yesterday. The idea of the lift thing was a bit scary, but one can see how safely it is designed plus the nurse and aide had lots of experience using it. It's a sling thingee.
When my BP was checked before bed it was quite high so nurse called the Dr, and I got a BP med that works quickly and when I was checked in two hours it had gone down.
However it is up to that same high this morn so the Dr will come see me.
I did get some sleep. Dr had started me on a new sleeping pill which will take at least a week to start working, but I had melatonin last night. Plus I was just exhausted.
Back is quite sore because I am not used to laying down so much!
There's more but that's enough for now.
Hope you all have a loverly Sunday!

Sometimes there is a ray of sunshine in hospital life... A porter named Marcus just took me in my bed down to xray - sigh, he is very, very easy on the eyes - big, brawny yet clean-cut type, used to be in security.
He did not take my suggestion to drift down the last corner, bummer.

@Natalka , I hope your experience with the x-ray process was easier than yesterday.
@flemeth - hoping your pain and swelling get relieved soon!
I didn't go to church today - BrotherB has picked up a rug stain cleaner machine that I ordered from Canadian Tire and will drop it around after church.
Don't know whether to cancel my bday lunch tomorrow or not. I will wait and see how I feel later.
Right now, after walking Tootie - putting laundry in - screwing kitchen chair legs on more securely - cooking breakfast and having a lovely shower, I'm pretty pooped.
Will go and watch a bit of TV until BrotherB shows up.
I may even have to watch some -dare I say it - football today.
