April Fool here for sure: it's winter again. It rained for a full day, everything was melting, then just enough snow to cover all that progress we made towards really being spring.

    @walkonby , your poor Hubby...missing that goal. Don't they re-televise games?

I'm watching the global effort in Poland, the tent city where the busses drop off refugees, from so many different countries in the world, offering food, baby supplies, medicines, and so much kindness! There's still so much goodness in the world, all against one narcissistic mad-man!!

all great posts @Lynn49 ^^^ ha ha
Wrt DH and his shifts making him miss great games, there are the highlights ( like the Jays in 30 ) , which he so enjoys, but as far as the entire game being rebroadcast, I have no idea?
Not sure he'd even watch a game in its entirety that had already been played.

Hey everyone!! In other fantastic Disney+ new releases....Moon Knight began the 6 episode series with episodic 1 yesterday!
It was great! Oscar Isaacs.... what a dreamboat actor and Ethan Hawke....terrific villain! Why can't Disney drop the whole thing at once?
Waiting each week for the next episode is SO uncool.

The early birds are at it again. Happy Caturday to all. I understand covid is still NOT gone. The most recent one is referred to as BA.
I never did research whether or not our pets can get it? Hope not.

    Good morning, all!

So.....my hubby tested positive for covid yesterday which proves that if you're wearing a mask, using sanitizer wipes on grocery carts, it doesn't matter, weren't all going to get it. He's meticulously careful because of my asthma, but he has it. All he has is a cough, thank goodness, nothing else, thanks to our 2 vaccinations and booster. I had a cough for 3 days but I'm fine now. Our pharmacist suggested 1500mg of Vit C, 3000mg Vit D, and 35mg of zinc. I've been taking vitamin D every day forever, so maybe that's what helped me? His sore throat is almost gone and he hasn't coughed, yet. He'll be fine, thank God.
Our DD bought all the vitamins and brought them over in about an instant yesterday, so we're doing what we can to take care of each other.

So "they're " right...we're all going to get it, our herd immunity will be stronger now, at least ours is...

    Be careful out there!

Oh no @Lynn49 I’m so sorry your Dh has Covid . Thank goodness it seems to be mild ( for vaccinations). Hope you both are back to normal soon .

Wish I could say happy Saturday but I can’t. I’m working . I haven’t worked a Saturday in forever so I’m sad. Oh well, at least it’s not snowing .

Thank you, @harbie , this was so mild for us, it took our DD to insist he test himself. It was a surprise! Almost every family we know has been hit with it, but quite mild, omit, more mild than some flues we've had until we got flu shots. Maybe that helped, also?
How awful to work on a Saturday, that's too unfair!

@flemeth , thank you, we're so fortunate to have such mild symptoms, blessed to have had the protection offered by those vaccinations!

How wonderful @Lynn49 !! iykwim? Your DH's very tolerable symptoms should be enough proof that the vaccinations ( and booster! ) minimize the fatal outcomes on those that test positive. What is our summer going to be like I wonder? Will more people just accept they will " probably " get it?
I've been in the kitchen for the past half hour or so, making up a couple of things to have for my future meals.
Chili? all done......small dish of scallops? Sauteed and waiting. A single Cod fillet? Still wrapped in foil and baking atm.
Will only need to add a few veggie sides to these mains and I'm good to go.
