Probably going to make my first ever attempt at cooking meat...Doing up the ground beef I have to make some tacos. Let's hope it goes well and I don't screw up the beef!

Saturday I was very pleased to find GF brown rice tortilla wraps, so we ALL had wraps for dinner , DH and DS had the regular ones with ground beef spiced up, DD and I had the GF ones with ground chicken/turkey spiced up! First time I ever had grated goat cheese too! Oh and of course all the shredded, diced veggies too so they are a challenge to roll up, lol!
This pic I did not have the diced tomato, or grilled diced mushrooms/summer squash added, but you get the idea. I am definitely going back to grab more of these tasty treats!Last edited by walkonby; Sun, Aug 19th, 2012 at 09:59 AM.

Last night I was so sore from priming our basement I just cooked up some Oliverire tort and added catelli sauce with some salsa for a tex mex sauce.
Since it is a cold day here (16-18) i will be making split pea and ham soup

Haven't figured that out yet. Ran a 10k race this morning and then had turkey bacon and scrambled eggs for lunch, so probably something light-ish for dinner.

Grilled chicken legs with a side of Greek pasta salad. The vegetarians in my house will add some chick-peas and extra feta to their salad....
So many coupons....so little time!

I've always bought my tahini at Middle Eastern grocery stores. If you have an Arabic community nearby, you should find it as it's a staple with them.

i roasted a chicken today, so we had that with mashed potatoes and gravy, broccoli and baked beans (as requested by a 4 yr old..odd child she is ). enough chicken for a few sandwiches tomorrow at lunch, threw the carcus in some water with aromatics and am simmering it away to make some chicken and rice soup. i love when you can get a bunch of meals out of 1 dinner!

Tonight is our wind-up for one of my golf leagues...
Caesar salad, Steak, Mashed potates, veg and...
The original menu had cheesecake for dessert, but got changed to fresh fruit. Not that I don't love fruit, but awww!!
