I made roast chicken, scalloped potatoes, and veggies for supper. Carrot cake for dessert.

Yesterday I made soup from the pork rib broth - added onions, celery, peas, rice, potatoes, pasta.
Son fills his bowl, starts eating, after YUMming, he said - "We aren't going to have the ribs tomorrow, are we?" - with this look on his face. I knew there was something behind it for, yes, I planned to make the ribs tonight - but I asked him why. Turns out he has plans tonight to go out for pizza for his cousin's birthday, and didn't want me to make ribs on a night he wouldn't be there! LOL, I wouldn't, so said I would make them on Sunday.

So tonight is just me and my husband - since it's payday, maybe we'll get takeout... dunno yet.

My son is obsessed with that soup - I've never had it, but he just drools over it!

I can't vouch for their healthiness, but they're meatless!
The Mandarin Crispy Chick'n looks soooo good. I've never tried them as I prefer to make most of my stuff from scratch, but if they're gluten free, having a standby in the freezer for a night when a person is tired would be great. Have you tried that one?

Going to the farmers market this morning. Depending on whats fresh, I'm thinking either a nice batch of cream of broccoli soup and some sammies, or maybe a homemade macaroni and cheese (gluten free of coarse) with some roasted rooot veggies. Only the farmers market knows for sure

I know you didn't ask me lol. But I have tried the buffalo wings, crispy chick'n and the crispy tenders and found them all pretty good.

Can someone cook for me tonight? Cabmonk... you got that super cool kitchen... I am coming over?

Otherwise I think I am going to eat friend rice with bakery buns. Maybe Fresca or Tang to drink. I wish there was hockey on tonight.

Pizza is being served in the Smart Canuck Cafe,
Did you know that you can have pizza at any time of day?

Some people like it gooey & some people like it cheesy,
You can customize your pizza, it is really that easy,
Some people like pizza on the meaty side,
& some like tomatoes that are sun dried,
Some like peppers & some people like ham,
& I guess there are even some who like it with spam,
Some people like onions & a crispy crust,
& throw on extra garlic if you feel you must,
    Pineapple, mushrooms, anchovies, salami,
It's your very own pizza, so add some pastrami,
I never thought pizza could be comfort food,
But I must say that I'm in a pizza kind of mood!
