MIL made amazing Thai food which started off with a spicey thai soup, salad with apple and shrimp with 2 kinds of a thai inspired dressing, curry and rice and one of my BIL's made a mango coconut pudding style dessert. It was so good and freshing. I really need to take pictures when I'm there.
Last night was homemade pizzas. 1 ham & pineapple and the other roasted chix, red onion and chipotle bullseys bbq sauce. I made 2 so DH would have lunch today

The one I had was a hand-me-down and while it still worked I really wanted a nice new one with beautiful grills and a side burner! Will take great care of this baby!

Will be planning the weekly meals tonight. Bought tons of great meat on sale, pork chops, roast, boneless chicken, Jumbo wieners (kids love them and they will be great for a quick meal night)

Last night we had grilled bacon wrapped steaks (the ones that were on sale at M&M's), baked potatoes and grilled asparagus. SO yummy, no leftovers for lunch today
Not sure what we are having tonight, probably something quick like hot dogs, beans and salad or maybe a quick stir fry. We have lots to do around the house tonight plus going to prep dinner and make cake for my dad's birthday dinner tomorrow.

^ I bought those too, but our BBQ is buried under snow and ice, so we have to wait to try them!
Tonight I'm making meatloaf, smashed potatoes, carrots, and salad - one of my son's fave meals to celebrate the first day of his new job.

I made warm garlic dill potato salad (http://www.kraftcanada.com/en/recipe...to-111592.aspx) and had a salmon fillet with it.
Dessert soon will be either tea and a cupcake, or coffee and a cupcake

Our last one had a side burner, and I can count on one hand how many times we used it. The outside of it was in OK shape, but the inside was rusting out. Our new one, I was looking to go smaller, and I didn't really want a side burner, but they mostly all come with one. One of my wants for the new one was grates that are small enough to fit in the sink to get cleaned properly! I didn't quite get my wish, but they mostly fit.
