Oh, eww on the avocado, but yum on the bacon, muggos!
We love Haribo! We can get them at London Drugs, and I've also ordered them online from here - oops, they are redoing their site, but check them out sometime in the future at chocodirectDOTca. They have awesome stuff from other countries - not just chocolate, but pantry things, too. Lots of Haribo!
As for German stuff - the best KitKats we EVER had were ones that were brought to us from Germany!
Supper tonight was dry garlic boneless ribs from our local Butcher (they are awesome!), chili and garlic potato wedges, kernel corn, and Caesar salad.
Yup, I'm full!

Did a chicken-chili this a.m. in my big pot, so they had better eat it up. Made DH's favourite GF cornbread muffins to go with and baked a whole cookie sheet full of thinly sliced chix breasts using my GF breading. Carrots and broccoli are the 2 steamed veg sides.

Homemade Chinese. yum beef and veggies stir fry with chicken fried rice.
Bought tons of produce yesterday so who knows what will end up in the stir fry but I am pretty it will be more veggies than beef which is good. We are trying to diet as the docs have told mom she needs to lose weight and wanted her to have surgery but after getting details on the surgery she has opted to see what she can do on her own.

Last night was KFC for husband's birthday - his fave!
Today I'm slow roasting a pork picnic shoulder, cheap from Sobey's (huge one for $6). Will serve with smashed potatoes, gravy, and peas.
