Canada Post... I have two packages being delivered today, this one was supposed to be delivered last week, my other parcel from the same PO showed out for delivery at 7:18 but this one seems stuck

I know that it will not fix the issue, but did you know that Canada Post will reimburse you the cost of the full shipping cost on packages that do not arrive in the promised amount of time?

It is being sent to me, so the company I bought it from will get the reimbursement, not me, but yes, I know that and the last 2 parcels I sent and 4 from work have all been late and reimbursed.

Walking DD to school in the snow. What used to take 10-15 minutes each way now takes 20-25 and the stroller keeps getting stuck in the snow. Today I got all the way home (literally walking to our door) and looked down and saw DD's backpack. Had to turn around and walk all the way back to give her her lunch. Spent almost 1.5 hours walking in the snow. And then DS wanted to play in the snow because he had been sitting the entire time. I'm spent! lol

People who have SUV's and think because they do it's ok to drive like it's spring when we're having a blizzard.

FYI you are not a better driver and your 4 wheel drive doesn't help you any better on black ice asshole. I won't be stopping to help you out of the snowbank when you plow into it or slide through a red light.

spent $30 on a bag of blue buffalo for my older cat with tummy issues - woke up this morning cupboard door open and a cat made a hole in the bag. I called "minner" - they like that word for dinner and Bootsie didn't come so she was the one that ate the good hard food.

When we bought my Mazda 4WD MPV, I was told that 4WD doesn't equal 4WStop. And I know some-one, friend of a friend of a friend, who believes that SUVs don't need winter tyres, one of these days I'm sure the SQ will explain that he's wrong.

Totally agree. I have an SUV AWD with snow tires and I skidded through a stop this morning. I started braking 50ft from the stop and was only doing 30km when I started braking.
Going to be a fun winter.
