Good Evening friends!
Got my "negative" report to my BrotherR's lodge today so he can come visit tomorrow. Returned a couple of shirts to Northern Reflections and bought several replacements. (Don't let me out shopping!) Tried to return some wine but they are not accepting returns right now. They said just to keep the receipt and they'll take it back once they are okayed to.
Took my friend to pick up her new glasses and did some more sorting also spent considerable time last night and this morning trying to get chewing gum off the sole of my shoe. ( Wish it was "Diamonds on the soles of (my) shoes".)
@danger_dan - getting all that firewood is great. Hope your muscles calm down. Have a great weekend!
@flemeth - glad to hear your relatives are doing well.
We are under a thunderstorm watch, but nothing has materialized yet. The weather commented on a town near Georgian Bay, I think, where the Temps went down about 10° after they had a storm . It was still about 27° when I went out at 9.
Well, early day tomorrow - Tenants' Association at 10 and then brother coming over about 2. Lots of tidying up to do in between. 2 more bags full of old reciepts, cards, bills are hitting the garbage chute tomorrow.
My life (or at least the past decade or so,) is flashing before my eyes as I do this purging.
Must get some sleep. Good night!

Sitting in outpr trailer with our GS discussing astronomical events and theories. Or rather he's teaching me astronomical theories and discoveries. I think he's going to contact the jet propulsion agency with a theory.
Who says camping is boring!? Hahaha!

Good day!
Haven't been around much, because when I feel yucky, I am not inclined to share as much. Let's just say there isn't much good going on - and husband is not doing great either. Oy...
Today was my +Mom's birthday, 1926. I still miss her so very much; she has been gone since 1996.
Take care, everyone!

Can't believe a whole day went by without a post.
Had our memorial service today- very moving.
Can't sleep. Maybe I will take something and hope for the best. Temps sure cooled off today. Lots of rainy times. Grass is greening up.
Will check in tomorrow.
@Natalka sure hope things turn around for you and your hubby. Yes, our memories of loved ones gone are a treasure.
Sleep well, everyone!

good day all!
Seems everyone is away enjoying their weekend ( as it should be )
This morning I decided I'd finally tackle a small but tedious task of trimming back the flowering shrub I had planted all along the pathway on just one side of the concrete slabs, and remove all the small weeds that have invaded through the small cracks.
It was a tidy up job, nothing more....a haircut if you will.
I used a pair of my sharpest scissors so as not to awaken anyone with the whipper snipper. I perspired more in that 20 minute stretch of time than i did doing anything else for the entire day on Saturday.
To make things worse, there was this very large annoying thing that constantly prevented me from reaching as low down as I needed to be and it was also labouring my breathing!
Yep....my ever expanding " tummy ". It is now a THING. I need to give it a despicable name or something to shame it away!
I've decided this contribution will be my entire week's worth of gardening, so I hope when the gang does get up they notice!!

Okl weekend's almost over, check in!
Still at camp, DH ordered a bunch of new channels for our TV for me on our satellite, justvgot back from the kids' deck, having played 9 holes of golf in cards (omgoodness, love that simple, non-thinking game, lol,!). It's a beautiful evening and thankfully the humidity had declined to the point where my breathing is easier.
Sweetest dreams, everyone! Stay safe down south!!

For some reason, the first person I thought of, besides me of course, when I saw this meme was @danger_dan
