yeah, I know....after covid illnesses, deaths, murder hornets, asteroids, political upheaval in the USA.....Friday the 13th just doesn't pack the same punch.

@walkonby , when our DD and our GS went to pick out his new kitten, he chose the black one, just like in your meme and the gal said she was happy that she went to a good home, since, being just before halloween....well....who knows.

About to take a chance and venture out to the bank and to get pills for Tootie. Won't have to get out of the car.

We are starting a toy drive here on Monday. They put up out lobby Christmas Tree this morning. I'm taping Hallmark Christmas shows as we speak.

Wishing my gut would settle down. Tough night all in all.

Will deliver all of my "unloved" clothes to the Salvation Army, as well.

I'm thinking Christmas will be a very solitary time. No Birthday party for me again this year. We did have lots of fun last year, though. It was a complete ice storm outside so many of the residents who had planned to go out came to the party.

Well, time for me to make the bed. Why do I always forget until bedtime that I haven't put the mattress cover on after I washed it? Arghh! Tootie drums her nails saying, "Come on, mum, it's bedtime, I want to go to sleep!"

A quick hello whilst my tablet is behaving.
All day the touch screen has been ornery - having to tap something like ten times made me beyond frustrated!

I am down to once a week Cobands changes, they are on both legs. I do not like that because my legs get itchy, hot, and just not comfortable after several days.
Still, I understand why, and it's a good thing in that the legs have healed, just not ready for stockings yet.

Our City in the aftermath of the blizzard has been crazy. Of course main streets, bus routes, and in front of schools were all ploughed - still big troubles for those of us on regular streets.

Our son didn't want my husband to drive anywhere yet, so this weekend he will pick up some groceries for us, and meds for me.

Still having horrible pain in right hip down to knee. Now my neck has gotten involved, so that is terrible for me. My left hand has been numb again, something which hadn't happened since I left the hospital last - and they could find no reason for it.

We had a few -20something nights and days in minus teens. Weekend will be minus single digits!

Good morning! The sunshine looks so beautiful this morning, a chilly 0 heading up to 4 but after reading Nat's temps, I'm fine with this!

@Natalka , some good, some concerning news last night but I hope you're feeling better this morning. I wonder if the numbness in your hand is also due to your circulation...? Having Milan helping you both is such a blessing. We're back in total lockdown here (not the city), we order our groceries for pick-ups DH doesn't even have to leave the car, the kids call whenever they're heading out for this and that, but also ordering groceries again, also. It's so sad,them wearing masks and dropping the groceries outside our front door, backing away to chat.... And no hugs.....😢

What a mess this world is in!

Awwww, I hear ya @Lynn49 . The " no hugging " policy is the cruelest part, we feel that too.
What blinding sunshine we are having atm. I love that especially because it helps charge the solar lights we have strung along the walkway.
@Natalka last night when I viewed your post of the stack of cats I got a giggle and then this morning I was sent this video....so Happy Caturday!!




I want to tackle making my first recipe of lobster bisque. It's been on my mind for a few weeks now.
I still have one box left ( mix ) of those Red Lobster cheese biscuits, so I'd have to make that up too.
We'll see how my energy levels are as the day progresses.

@Lynn49 I know what you mean about no hugs and backing away to talk with your close relatives. My house is also kind of a lock down No more visitor outside even Since vivid 19 in March I had no one entire my house Which is sad that whenever my DH siblings comes to visit we go out on the patio and talk over the summer we were invited to many BBQ but opt not to go . I am missing my family in the USA but there is nothing I can do talking over the phone and virtually seeking them is not the same. And both my parents are getting older. New times we live in
