@avoncallingu , next time you're wanting something sweet (besides grapes, lol), try this:

1 box Betty Crocker angel food cake (make sure it's a 1-step cake mix!)
1 20oz can of crushed pineapple.

Dump the pineapple into the cake mix in a huge bowl (it'll poof way up!)
    Stir together until thoroughly mixed.
Pour into a lightly sprayed 9x10 baking pan.
Bake @350 for 45 minutes or until golden brown and done in the middle.

    12 pieces = 170 calories each.

SO fantastic, I could eat the whole thing myself!

Thanks @Lynn49 , I am way over again today- that sounds really good.

I don't know what I did to my back again today, except a lot of sitting in Zoom meetings and waiting for cleaning to be done.

We have two Canada Geese who have established themselves outside our building and are nesting. The male has been attacking people, physically if they get anywhere near the nest.

Excitment never stops around here! 😉

Will catch up with you later.

Does the pineapple settle on the bottom of the pan?

Not at all, @HermanH , it's crushed pineapple so it stays distributed throughout the very moist cake. Some have added a little toasted coconut into the batter but I haven't tried that.

    OH! I forgot!
Use ONLY the Betty Crocker 1-step angel food cake with just 1 package inside the box!

As soon as you remove it from the oven, turn the pan upside down to cool!!
It tends to collapse a little it you don't. I made a bundt cake tge first time, turned it over onto a bottle, and it was perfect.
Or just let it cool normally in the pan, it'll taste just as delicious!

    Good morning!

@GoJays , you're 2 for 2 this morning! That leaf blower brought up such a fun graphic for me! Lol!
Loved the "death" one...our DD will love it! ' without the committment'.....

Not too much going on today, putting the camp quilt together, then all I have to do is quilt it!

    Enjoy the day, everyone!

How is your GS handing that abuse from his other parent? I hesitate to call him 'dad' because he's sure not acting like one.
    SO terribly sorry.....
Our grandson seems to be well adjusted (according to the school psychologist), is happy and is doing very well in school. All this instead of his fathers (and step-mothers) crap! We dont know what goes on at their house but at my daughters house, she and her hubby keep adult matters away from the kids, never discuss their father in front of the kids and never ever maligne them in front of the kids. The fathers GF has her 3 kids on Retilin so maybe she wanted his son on this also. Who knows, but im glad no one agreed to this. Actually, he is quite angry about this but we dont know if its because the doc refused meds or because his GF is upset about this.

I think the problem is that grandson questions everything that father decides whereas granddaughter just goes with the flow.

Your Grandson seems like a very intelligent young man; questioning everything is such a wonderful trait. I can imagine how that gets under the skin of someone like his dad who isn't likely accustomed to anyone saying 'no' to him.

He'll be fine I'm thinking...it's fine to not bad-mouth a former partner, but being honest with him about his dad is also fine. Not to bad-mouth, but to explain his "problems" and how their son can deflect them from himself. It gives him tools to work with.

He has family who love him and that's the most important thing.
Wishing you and yours all the best...
