homemade pizza......dough is rising, sauce is simmering & I'm waiting for my son to come & look after prepping the toppings.
I love having the oven on when it's cold & damp outside.

It's warm here so I'm bbqing again. I have some nice pork chops that I stuffed. They are on the q, we will be using up the balance of the potato salad I made the other day, along with a bunch of fresh veggies and blue cheese dip.
We all need a little sunshine every now and then

Went to the farm today and stocked up potatoes, cabbage, carrots, beets, celery, romaine, garlic, peppers.
So tonight I made potato wedges in the oven and a salad of romaine and red peppers with nutritional yeast and a little dressing.
DD with the giant celery we got lolLast edited by Patty Smyth; Sat, Oct 13th, 2012 at 06:49 PM.

Not sure. I made a baked cheese loaf with crackers to bring to a surprise 30th Birthday party for one of our friends. There will be some other appetizers, but it is being held in a room at Super 8, so not sure what other food options will be available. Thinking about eating some before we go.

put DH's Prime Rib roast in the oven at 5:00 a.m. the smell is wafting everywhere. Making another GF loaf of bread in the bread-maker...did I mention I bought a brand new one? ( Black & Decker...all computery like buttons.) Well I am going to try to stay strong this week, thinking stir fry time again since I have so many crisp veggies.

a couple weeks ago NF had turkeys on for 95c/lb and i had enough gas$$ to get a free turkey - they had a smaller one for $7.09 so we're having that today. its in the oven and smells heavenly. we'll have stuffing, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots and mashed turnip. maybe make some crescent rolls to go with it.
