I often think what it must be like to be on welfare for years and years and never be able to spend $$ on what you want, just the basic needs, day in day out, each year passes, nothing changes. Must be depressing. Glad you are a real go getter when it comes to planning your financial future. You seem to look ahead and that is great.

so is the back up job the one in the evening? Then if for some reason you lose the day one you mean you will have had enough saved from the two jobs to afford to be laid off or something. Lets hope it doesn't happen.

hey wait a minute Chris, the economy and the jobs are not what it was when your older siblings did that, so nix on making yourself feel like you do not measure up!
That is an order. lol. I am kidding around a bit, but you know how everything seems to have changed " globally " so that has a severe impact on the economy everywhere.

well DH and DS took theirs to work ( that stuffed chicken breast thing I made Sat) but I had beefsteak stew and dumplings for mine ( that was made on Friday) but there is still enough there for at least 4 servings. I had my salad this afternoon right after work.

I heard the Mega is only once a year at Christmas time. I feel so badly for them. Whoever did it should be charged with theft/fraud, etc.

did you read that thread about many members having all their SDM points stolen out of their account between midnight and this morning?! Some of them went to do the Mega redemption and were told their points balance was zero!! I think some fraud or something.

window shopping saves plenty of dollars eh? lol. I was very happy to redeem at SDM for $500.00 in all free food items, so paid no tax. ( yipee! )
