What's blooming in your yard?

Well I had the ds's plant zucchini seeds in the square foot garden. Then remembered how big the leaves get n had one dug em up n move them . Only 2 plants came up n they are still small. The pumpkin is going to overtake it too I think. Its just on the other side of the rhubarb. Funnily enough I have never bought impatients until this this year (even after reading about the problem) they were a favorite of my gramma who passed away last year and my son picked them out when we went shopping. I dont seem to be having any problems with them I only bought a few and they are in baskets

I had cherry toms ripen first too. Two days before that pic they were green. I did move some leaves around so they could get more sun

My Impatiens that are in the beds are ok for now but all the ones in the pots have died. Sort of making it's way across the yard from one side to another

I was so happy today I was able to bring my friend(who is a vegan nutritionist and trainer) a huge basket of stuff. Kale, celery, peppers. cherry tomatoes, english cucs.., yellow bans, basil and red leaf lettuce. (and 2 jars of jam but he is hiding that from his clients)

Spoke to a large nursery owner today. She was at a growers conference and said we can forget about Impatiens for the next 5-10 years . It will take that long before they can produce a mold resistant genus. Oh well.

Tomatoes, zucchini, and spaghetti squash are all flowering right now.

I've been eating a few ripe cherry tomatoes for a while now, but I now have my first couple of large tomatoes that are vine ripening too.

We have a cucumber growing! Tons of flowers on the other plants and on our pumpkin plants too.

ds grew a watermelon plant for me in school last year... it finally has a little watermelon on it.. it's about the size of a tennis ball LOL!!

My cat sitter takes care of my yard, but she got a boyfriend a while back, so she don't come around as much, this is all her work. I just water them. have no idea what they are. My backyard!

1) Wax Begonia
2) petunia
3) Rieger Begonia
4) Roma/plum tomato
5) Amaranth?
6&7) Flowering Kale
8) white flower is radish going to seed; orange flower could be squash blossom
9) Tansy?
