Dear homeless lady who I pass every day:

I have been known to give money to homeless people when I have spare change hanging around (rare, because I use plastic), and when someone asks nicely.

First time you asked me if I had change and I said no, you mumbled under your breath that I was a "B****." And you've done it every time since. Do you really think calling someone names will make them give you money next time?

I've tried giving people food maybe 3 times. Two times they've refused it.

How hungry are you really if you refuse free food?

Wowsers, it was seeing the name Havre that caught me - the only time I was ever out of Canada was when I was around three years old - we were living in Eastend and the family went for a bit of a trip to Havre.
I don't remember a thing about it, though there are pics of a parade we went to. Mom said I got shoes for my dolly.

(Just realized that probably only vesper will know where Eastend is, it's in the SW part of SK, pretty close to the US border)

I am going to passing though Eastend tomorrow on my way back to the border! Yahoo!! It's a nice town, I actually met an author who wrote a book about the famous murder of a beauty queen in Saskatoon from 1962 who lives there.

Havre probably hasn't changed a bit. Even the K-Mart looks like it's been around a while!

OK so this guy in town (28-30 years old) leaves his wife and kids and moves in with an 18 year old year woman who has a reputation for messing with married men. That is pretty bad.

But then this guy I know, who has a long term GF right now, tells me how angry he is about this!! Then I learn the real reason for him being so angry.... he was fooling around with her to!

The woman who got dumped is a super fancy nice lady. I'm definitely going to smile when I see her next time and offer my sympathies! Yahoo!!

All I have to say is when will people learn, if they do with you they will do it too. More than likely if she knows your involved with someone and fooling around with you, you aren't the only one she is fooling around with. Just like relationships that start by one of cheating on someone else, more than likely will end with them cheating again but instead of cheating with you they are cheating on you.

Is CP trying to slowly kill me??!! Another " request " for me to start 2 hours early on Monday, yeah they say it is voluntary, but NO ONE else will do the work if I come in at regular time. If I am backlogged everyone waits! Grrrr.

I am on the verge of starting my own rants thread.

My mother.

I have been paying her $20 an hour to babysit my kids while I am in school. More than what I would be paying for them to be in an after school daycare.
All she has to do is entertain them for a few hours each day until I get back from school. give them a snack, make them do their homework.
she lets them sit on their a$$es and play video games and watch tv after school for hours while she does something similar. The kids are destroying my house.....and she is letting them. I hardly have enough time to tidy it myself and they make it worse.

Yesterday she let DS2 watch tv in my room. He ends up moving the cable box around because of the light, he knocks all my perfume off and all of my jewellery.....my favourite things.
I found all of the rings but 1 and decided to wait until I had daylight to find it. He ate crackers in my bed, so I climbed into crumbs last night.
That almost sent me over the edge.

this morning I am getting ready for school and they are on their butts playing games and she wants the password for my IPad. Why? Becuase the kids are going to play video games for 6 hours and she needs to be entertained too. So, I snapped. Take the kids outside to play......play a game with them. Do anything that a babysitter should do. Don't plop them in front of the tv and computer all day!!!

So what does she do after I yell at everyone to go get dressed........she picks up the vacuum, knowing full well my ring is missing. I asked her wtf she was doing? Her response....if I suck it up you can go through the central vac canister and look for it.
Really? You are going to vacuum up my ring and I can sift through a canister full of dog hair, crackers and no one knows what else for my friggin diamond ring?

So, I am 2 hours late for school (study time) because I had to rip my bedroom apart to find mydiamond because apparently everyone else in the house is totally incompetent of doing anything remotely useful or logical unless I tell them what to do.

Where is my parcel that you tell me was delivered at lunchtime ?? - Someone was in my house all day and at mid-day there were 3 of us in but no parcel was delivered. The doorbell didn't ring and the dog didn'T bark to tell me someone was even vaguely close to my house but apparently you left it by my front door...
And when you return my phonecall you ask if i have found it yet.....seriously, what do you expect me to do, go looking around the neighbourhood hoping to get lucky ??!!
And maybe your chap can check his route...if he's got time!...but just maybe it'll have to wait til Monday.
