So much for social distancing....my Hubby just drove to Staples to pick up a binder, curb-side, he just popped the trunk open and closed without getting out of the car, so no social contact, BUT...he said the line-up outside Costco was about the length of the side of the building, no distancing and in the rain!!!
He said it wouldn't take him too long before he'd have said, "Nope. Don't need anything that badly!"....what are they going in there for? The only major purchase we do there would be meats that he divides up into meals and freezes, but anything else? Noooo!! Not now, anyway!

People are stupid. Not us, of course...other people...

Interesting how Kentucky Fried Chicken dropped until I think, it changed to KFC, then took off again, lost again (understandable, yuck)...then the races among the others, the shifting positions....SO interesting!!

Better later in the day than never but this has been a long day already and I am now caffeinated so that I stay awake while dinner cooks and not burns!
Rainy day here too but ventured out with my cool Cookie Monster umbrella because I can pull it off! (I am sure the neighbours remember me for other reasons!).
Had a good long messenger chat with DS which was great because they are often few and far between.
Although we are all (everyone out there) social distancing. I believe we may be connecting more with others and hope it continues when this blows over.
It is always good and encouraging connecting here on SC. The world could use a little more friendship!

how lovely @Skippy that your DS did the chit chat with you. Sometimes it takes a pandemic to knock our brains into understanding what is actually precious. Hope you get many, many more calls!

Kind of a yucky day it was, makes me wish I had a Cookie Monster Umbrella to give my neighbours something to gawk at.
I swore I was ONLY going out to drive DD into work and hit Rexall for my Be Well Loyalty card, but then Metro beckoned me as I wanted to get more OJ and they had a sort of deal with AM.
Once in the store, 2 fresh whole chickens leaped into my cart! Then before long the cat litter screamed " we're on sale too!! " , so 4 boxes of that, 9 various jugs/cartons of OJ....well, I felt the need to redeem points to pay part of it.

That is it. No more going out. Until Friday though as Rexall launches their Be Well programme with some bonus offers! I get to use my card for the first time!! Oh yeah, and taking DD into work, filling up the vehicle....but after that? HOME!!

@GoJays, your Seahawks wear a pretty distinctive colour combination.....I wasn't sure I liked it when I first saw it, but I do now. As to my team, I just can't do a green and yellow kitchen.

I don't think I'd like any room in Packers colors It's fine for the field but not so much for the walls

OMGOSH, YES @GoJays !! I guess when you're making a kabillion dollars you can be talked into wearing just about anything, but honestly...those really are embarassing...and I'm only watching!! Haha!!
@walkonby .....{{{sigh}}}...do you wear a mask? Do you sanitize everything before you store them away? Lol...you should see us, using Lysol wipes on milk cartons, glass jars, etc...but, who knows, right?
