I don't know which one I hate more @Natalka - warm and snowy or frigid and dry. I suppose if it's very cold it's still safe to go out because the roads are good. But I hate being cold Screw it, just give me July.

Good day all! Fully intended to not go to my 9 a.m. massage today, but had a change of heart once I woke up at 7 a.m. Spent nearly 3/4 hr shoveling JUST 2/3 of the driveway plus turning on the ignition and heater to thaw the ice from the vehicle, then did the scraping dance.
I arrive at the Clinic and the therapist was a no show!! ha ha
That'll teach me thinking I am in control of my day.

Searching my brain to find a victim that can clear the remaining snow on the driveway??
The guys are out, they both sleep until they leave for work, plus the one guy is old with a sore-er back than me and the other one is his son....bwahahaha!!!
Hope my DD feels special being asked to do this....to be continued.

Just hope THIS isn't what happens when I ask her?

Hello folks!

I woke up way too early this morning.

Tootie' s vet examined the growth she has. It is behind one if her nipples and is about the size and shape of a green bean pod. She is suggesting that for now we just monitor it to see if it is changing and to go back in 2 months or in case of a change. It doesn't seem to be bothering her at the moment.

I tackled going through a big hat box where I kept everything to do with my wedding.

I had multiple copies of all sorts of things. I have kept a certain number of things that are especially important and have come up with a kitchen garbage bag of things to be turfed.
A satisfying but emotional journey.

Now I am going to take a nap. My back and hip are sore from sitting and bending. Good time to rest.
Just driving almost directly across the street this morning to get to the vet was challenging, so I cancelled my other appointments and am taking it easy.

It just keeps snowing and snowing and snowing. I have had to shovel out a little path on our patio 3 times today so Tootie can find a spot.

@Lynn49 - your nasty Farmer's Almenac predictions are coming true!

My landlady has informed me that she will be showing my unit as of 9:00 am on Saturday morning. I hope they don't mind if I am still in bed! (Ha! Ha!)

My DH never bought into Valentine's Day very much-just merchandising hoo-ha, you know-he would always make me a special steak dinner, though, and I would add the decor. I did find some lovely Valentine's Cards that he had sent to me, stuffed into the wedding stuff. He promised to love me for the rest of his life. And he kept his promise.

I wonder if special Valentine's Traditions will be part of your day tomorrow? Want to share?

yeah @flemeth it's the darn sodium for me. It is too high for a Dr. Poon diet. However, most Keto diet people will LOVE this FREE bacon link!!
