one phily cream cheese brick - i use light
    one cup of milk
i put them on the stove low heat till all incorporated ,then add 300 g of shredded cheddar cheese (also use light) after it melts, i use the blender to make it very smooth. then refrigerate .

i wasn't sure what to do today, then remembered i bought a 2lb roast at the butcher yesterday to do in the oven today, DOH!

so it will be roast beef, mashed taters, glazed carrots, i roasted a head of garlic to mash up with the potatoes, and i have cauliflower soup going that i make with pureed cashews to 'cream' up a bit.

i just walked in the house a few minutes ago and it smells exactly like those sour cream and onion puffed rings that you buy in the chip aisle. i think it's because i am roasting the beef on a bed of onion slices.

    oh my tummy grumbles lol!

Nothing sexy here. Just a whole lotta leftovers. There isn't enough of any one thing to do a whole meal for everyone so I'm reheating the bits and bites and we have "leftover buffet". The only rule is they have to choose 1 meat, 1 veggie and 1 starch-like thing.

    Wow, easy enough!
I might have to make one with super sharp cheddar and goat cheese or one with hot peppers...omg yum!
    Thanks for sharing ;D

Do you know how long it'll keep for? (Like it'll last over a day in my house..lol)

My dad and I made chicken Pad Thai from scratch tonight for the first time! It turned out really well :D
You'd be surprised at how much food you can make for under $5... it fed our family of 4 adults with left overs for lunch tomorrow!

Just my husband and me for supper last night - used some bits from the freezer - two porkchops, which I roasted with onions; boneless dry garlic ribs, and homemade potato wedges, plus raw cauliflower and dip.
