I hear ya on the diet Abby5... eating an Everything bagel topped with a fried egg, mozza cheese and ketchup... for "dessert" is the half of a Crunch bar I bought yesterday.

DH and DS get to have the delicious smelling pork tenderloin ( roasting now) with mashed and beets, and garden salad.
The NF store had the pork roasts on for $1.00 per pound!! ( 2 per family limit though)

Wow, awesome price on the pork, WOB!

We'll be BBQing steak (last of the 'good' ones from the last sale, lol!), roasted potatoes, some sort of salad.

Figures eh? DD and I are not allowed pork on our food plan, so we suffer smelling it cooking, drat!

We had a downpour yesterday, and more to come so no BBQ for us this weekend. Enjoy!

my 9 year old DD made supper for us tonight. She'd asked if she could help me cook and I decided today was a good day to give her some cooking lessons. I let her take the lead on all of it and she basically prepared everything herself with only a little guidance and minimal assistance/direction from me. It took a lot longer to get supper ready than usual, but I think these are important lessons for a young lady to learn too so it was time well spent for both of us!

We had vegetarian hamburgers, 3 bean salad and creamed corn. It was really awesome too!
