I've been spoiled the last two days working on set and having food prepared by chefs...Wed night was salad, some sort of spicy rice dish, mashed sweet potatoes, shaved beef brisket, broccoli, rye bread, and I can't even remember what else! Thurs night was salad, seasoned peas, seasoned corn, spicy roasted potatoes, mixed root veggies with pearl onions, and chicken parmigiana.
Tonight I'm having poutine and chicken fingers since I have had this gravy sitting in the fridge for the few days that I haven't been home to eat.

Just ordered in Chinese food, husband will pick up on the way home.
Son is coming over, yay!
I only had a cupcake for lunch, so I am ravenous - no shrimp shall be safe!

The plan was for homemade pizza for DS and grilled steak for DH and I. But it's wet and windy out tonight, so just made the pizza and I'll grill steak tomorrow. I love our homemade pizza, but I always burn the roof of my mouth on the cheese because I'm too darned impatient to stuff it in there!

Tonight, leftover Chinese food - even with a huge amount our son took home last night, there is so much left for us!
Each dish we ordered was overflowing - they were very generous!

first time I price matched lean ground beef at RCSS to earn the PCPlus points on my offer. DH has been whining about me using chicken or turkey for the homemade burgers, so THAT is what dinner is tonight. A $20.00 family pack of meat was reduced to $12.00, not bad at all! ( made 14 pretty large patties ) Hmmm, better round that meal out with some veggies.

The night before last I made tater tots with a over easy egg
Last night I made my spicy chicken thighs in the slow cooker so it ended up shredded and I served with garlic butter rice and a salad
Not sure about tonight. I have a funeral to go to alone ( Dh's working ) and I doubt I have much interest in cooking or eating after

Yesterday's lunch at the volunteer event was two types of home made pizza, salad pre-mixed with too much dressing, Mann's veggie and dip stray, home made sour cream raisin pie, and store bought valentine's cupcakes.

Soup stock is simmering from leftover turkey and other bones and bits. Not sure if I will add potato or rice or noodles into the finished soup, but there will be spinach ( and lots of it ) Breaded and baked some fresh chicken breast nuggets for DD, par cooked up plenty of fresh veggie sides ahead so no ones plate will be all meat today. The game is on at noon, hmmm maybe I should make dumplings with the soup, it is chilly out again.
