Honestly, I swear it was all just as good today for supper - we all had our fill, and there was still lots for our son to take home for a few meals. It's a very generous restaurant - all containers are full to bulging, and the food in more open-type containers comes overflowing. But we don't only get it for the big portions, it's awesome food too!

I planned tonight's supper and dh cooked it while I cared for our fussy twins.
Mashed red potatoes from the garden, pork steak in mushroom sauce, boiled mixed yellow beans, green beans, baby carrots, and a big glass of milk.

I don't know what we will be eating for supper tomorrow night. I haven't pulled anything out of the freezer yet.

I surveyed the fridge when I got up today to see what was left of all the stuff I had made ahead yesterday.
It was limited so made up 12 chicken thighs as a backup. ( the place is still smelling like chicken ) Oh and that day it was freezing out ( was it Sunday ? ) .....I actually picked about 40 long ( almost too long ) green beans from out back! How can those 2 plants still produce beans? I love it! I snipped the ends, cut them in small 1/2 " pieces and boiled till just tender, I am blown away at how lovely and bright green and they tasted perfectly fine. Next year I am making 3 plants of those!! ( I just love green beans )

Last night we ended up having sliced chicken breast with bacon and cheese on toast with a oven fries.

Tonight who knows, Mom doesn't work until 5:30 so she said she would make something and leave it in the fridge for me, really who can turn down an offer like that?

Pork side ribs (they are a very odd cut we got several months ago, and are not great, so just wanted to use this second package of them up) - but they are good the way I sauce and cook them, along with roasted diced potatoes and peas. Probably some salad for me as well.

Will be making homemade soup with broth from ribs I cooked the other day. Will make with barley, rice, potatoes, onion, celery, carrots, peas, and lots of dill.
Leftover ribs and potatoes for husband as well.
