Wowsers on so many of yesterday's meals! I wish I could have gotten to WOB's, especially!
Well, the slow cooker porkchops were very good, and were perfectly done in eight hours on low. It was an all-in-one meal, because there were carrots, potatoes, onions, and mushrooms as well as the six porkchops. It called for sliced potatoes; next time I would just cut them in chunks, and I would adjust the seasoning differently.
My son and husband loved it, too - my son called it the 'magic pot' - and my husband couldn't figure out how it worked if there weren't water or something in between the insert and the outer shell - lol!
So, I shall be using this again - and I've realized that somehow I lucked out and chose the right one (at the time I knew zip about them), it's a huge oval one, so I can make practically anything in it from recipes I've seen.

Vegan spicy sesame peanut noodles with meatless chicken strips! I could eat this dish all day long. :D
We ate it with steamed veg on the side. Would be even better with stir fried tofu!

Something a little different from eating vegan..lol
Pan seared steak, ArcticGarden rice (which was free! Glad it was, cause...yuck!) and asperagus. The steak was marinated in a thai inspired spice rub with lemongrass, chili paste, garlic and ginger. Kind of..east meets west!

Natalka!! I am so happy your crock pot meal was a success. I tried to rep you, but jailed again! Do you have a weakness for roasted potatoes too?
( DH said they were the best ever, now if I only know what I did to make them turn out like that?? )

Roasted potatoes like those in your pic are MOST AWESOME! I would eat just them for a meal alone!
LOL on you not knowing how you got them that way - gosh, that happens to me with so many things I cook - end up not being able to replicate stuff, because I do so much off the top of my head.
Yesterday we had takeout from our favourite mall stall (funnily enough they have a 'real' restaurant nearer us, but you get bigger portions for cheaper at the mall food court!). I had homemade chicken fingers and their awesome steak fries; son had S&S boneless pork ribs and fries; husband had dry garlic ribs and bread.
