gadzooks! We went across the border tonight for some shopping and ate at the Golden Corral buffet. That place would be the death of me if I lived there, I'm sure.
I ate one of everything...
...and two of everything for the desserts.
lol. Just kidding....but it was definitely a night when I didn't count my calories and was...ahem...less careful than I should have been.
And I would feel bad....except...I don't. I absolutely do not regret the fudge whatsoever."Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." Oscar Widle

I made rice and had broccoli and cauliflower frozen veggie mix with old cheese melted on top
Then I made tabouleh and had too much so had to eat some of it so that I could fit it into two containers instead of three LOL! I think it might be the cheapest meal I've ever made too! Got the tomato and cucumber from the .88 sale at no frills. Lemon was .40, parsley was 1.99, and my bag of about a cup of couscous was like .60 at the bulk barn. It's supposed to have mint and onion in it too, but the mint looked all wilted at no frills and I couldn't find any dried so that's okay, and I'm not a huge fan of onions especially for work meals but it still tastes amazing.

Dinner sometime last week at Five Guys Burgers and Fries - hands down my current favourite burger place!
These were just HALF the fries! Fresh cut, fried to order in 100% peanut oil.
The other half was eaten by my bf and I... my burger was in there somewhere...
My "little" bacon burger, fries on the side with malt vinegar, ketchup and an empty container that once held pickles!
Bacon, grilled mushrooms and onions, jalapenos, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and barbeque sauce!
It was so, so, so good. I can't wait to go there again to pig out! Oink.

Not sure what we are having tonight. We have $2/lb chicken thighs that need to be cooked up.
I'm heading to my friend's house in a little while to pick apples from his tree because they are falling on the lawn. I plan on washing/coring them and freezing them in chunks in freezer bags. I'm 8months pregnant right now and on medical leave, so I'm sure I will be tired enough by the time I do just that. The apples can later be pulled out of the freezer for baking or making apple sauce for the baby.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money
