We ordered in Chinese tonight as part of my bday weekend celebrations.
By the time I got off work stopped and used all my expiring FPC and picked up a few one day only sales, I was feeling knocked down and coughing super bad so mom said your bday weekend starts now pizza or Chinese (only two things we can get delivered in the boonies). I choose Chinese. Super Yummy and something we don't order often.

Assortment of sushi roll pieces, salmon sashimi and a crispy spicy salmon bite
Peking duck wrap, seafood 'pocket' and chili salt fried shrimp
Roast beef, creamy potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, gravy and grilled green beans
Fresh hand pulled noodles in a spicy beef broth
Clockwise from top: Fried dough covered in burnt sugar (fav!), Chinese sugar donut, mini cheesecake,
mini egg tart (which was still warm!), white chocolate mousse and a chocolate covered strawberry
If you didn't figure it out by the photos, we went in for a buffet dinner at the Dragon Pearl.
This wasn't all the food, but I don't want to bombard this thread with like, 10 images in a row.. lol

oh, janetta, that looks like a yummy place to eat!
Last night we had chicken, potatoes, and coleslaw.
Tonight - maybe pancakes?
Meatballs baking in the oven - gah, it kills me to cook meat on a day when we can't eat it, but I had raw meat to use. We'll have them tomorrow.

Today I am going to my SIL and we are having a fish fry; its a yearly tradition on GF. There will be a lot of people..we use to do it indoors on the stove (what a mess!!ha ha) but now we have upgraded to a turkey deep fryer and do it all outside--it is fantastic! There will be a bit of everything, cod, perch, tilapia, smelt (or those little ones I am not sure what they are called now) and some other kinds for sure as everyone brings something different. (and off course lots of sides to go with it)

Dh, baby boy and I all have a cold.
For breakfast I had a cheese omelet with a toasted bagel and glass of milk.
I later made a fruit smoothie.
Lunch was M&C with fish sticks. I baked a home made apple pie. I also baked a pear. I am going to turn it into baby food by pureeing it with avocado. It is surprisingly tasty. We'll find out tomorrow if LO likes it.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

couldn't resist a dessert picture, I made a cranberry cheese cake. The recipe is from the Kraft website.
