As a mother who is truly crazy about her kids lol even tho they haven't been kids for a while now I've just never understood women who could walk away from their children in any manner. I've always been maybe abnormally close to my kids tho lol my sisters say cuz I was just a kid when I had them and would play for hours with them whereas they never had time for their kids even as a single mother they were my joy and in a way my stability in life I thoroughly enjoyed them. We're still close my son in particular calls sometimes 3 or 4 times a day usually just to chat, amazingly we can usually fill up an hour just visiting. lol they both tell me more then sometimes I'm comfortable about their lives but I'm just happy they feel they can. My son made me cry after 9/11 still get teary. He was stationed in Germany at the time, him and his buddies were sitting around talking about who their heroes were...my son told them I was. lol asked why would I qualify for a hero said because even when I was working & going to school fulltime I would read to them at night...weird huh, those are the things my kids remember tho, not when I was cross & cranky too much of the time overtired or too busy to do the things they wanted. To them I was a good mom cuz I read to them even when I was cross and cranky and didn't really have the time. They both read but my daughter loves to read like I do. She's more like me also in we have a lot more trouble coming up with an hours worth of chitchat lol with anyone but Jason (blabbermouth). We're still extremely close just not as obvious in the amounts of time we spend talking like it is with him but there is nothing we can't talk about. Its just hard to imagine a woman or well even a man although my ex did i,t walking away from such special creations that are such a part of you. I know kids & parents aren't always such perfect fits like mine seem to be with me but even so its inconceivable.

Sounds to me like her and your dh need to take a week or two and spend it alone work out their issues maybe find some kind of relationship idk lol I wish my mil was more with it but sometimes its a blessing that she isn't. She's sweet as can be but off in lala land. Know life has been tough for her lately when she starts talking about the aliens that came to the back door or equally bizarre things. Least she's harmless and seems content.

i must say my portion sizes did go up whenever we go to DH's side of the family for dinner they always tend to pile my plat ewith food and always tell me to eat very kind of them to always think of me but because of this i think this is the reason my stomach got bigger i used to eat a 6inch sub at subway now i can have a footlong and maybe some chips or a cookie after *blush* and i hate throwing away food i think of all the people that are less fortunate and then force it down cause i can handle it now *sigh* but for a couple days now i have been making smaller portions and perfect amounts of food for DH and i just enough so we both get full and there is non left

and as of today i am waking up early and staying up b4 i used to send DH to work then go back to bed and sleep till 12
and im not munching down on munchies (ie chocolate, cake, ice cream, chips etc...) only fruits and vegis
this is my plan and i hope it works cause i saw thease REALLY nice jeans at Buffalo and i want to buy them when the SPC discount value doubles on the 26th i think i tried them on and they didnt look so fab if i can go back to how i used to be (121lbs currently i am 143lbs) those jeans would look so fine :D

but i feel ya i have no chocolate in my house at least you can eat some tomorrow i am on a strict diet ever since i got married i have gaind 10kg!!! and non of my clothes fit and this is why im eating/drinking stictly healthy things and working out a tad bit more then i used to when i was single :D so i hope you enjoy an extra chocolate bar for me too

lol yea im like that with my 2nd bro we just cant stop bickering at each other *rolling eyes* he tends to get involved with everything i do drives me insane well i should slowly get to my cleaning had my sisters family over last night and her 2 year old is a handful you can imagine what she would do to a small apartmant hehe
