What a great way of looking at things, I never thought of it that way before, but you are so right. At times, I do kinda ignore certain friends, but ones that are good friends understand, and I always hold up a promise. But it seems like I really don't have a social life outside the hubby or the children, which I don't mind at this time in my life. And my house, well it's never in order, but I did start 2 weeks ago, and my bro has been a huge help trying to organize things. The only thing I dislike is when that other colwn gets the seltzer bottle out, when you don't expect it, and the plates get a bit wobbly. But I love that analogy (is that the right word) of it. I am so gonna remember that picture in my head.

I end up working 4 days a week, and get usually between 37-42 hours in those 4 days. It saves me the extra day paying for a sitter, but also gives me a full day with the girls thru the week. I don't go into work until noon, so am with them in the morings, unless the oldest is in school, and mondays are always my noon-6 or 7, so am home that night with them. It really does makes things hard not being in a routine, but they are starting to understand that both mom and dad need to work. Once both girls are in school, I may change the days around a bit at work, so I am home every night except maybe one.

No, actually I work a 11-12 hour tomorrow, but then get Thursday off, and work between 11-13 on Friday. Then thank goodness have the full weekend off. I am very interested in learning how to do the images Bookmom, so hopefully one evening when I have my full mind into it, you could show me. I am so computer stupid, it will be a hard lesson for you to show as the teacher.

Thanks Bookmom, I am actually enjoying the thread in the tea room about telling folks about yourself. But I think almost everyone on sc, know's my life story. But it is nice to read about other members. I hope you don't think I was complaining about my day, this is just an average one around here. WE are never very structured, between my weird shifts, the firecalls, and now my bro has been staying, something is always going on. But, I do think it would be nice for the family to take a mini vk. Hmmm, but that's another story, lol. What r you up to this evening?

Hey, that's great Bookmom, wow, that is a biggie. Good for you on the savings and reading about it. I saw the ad, but the only ones in our family would be the hubby and bro, which I'm not even sure if they came near are area. Not too much new here, long day at work, really long actually. Had a 10 hour shift, which wouldn't be so bad but last night I couldn't sleep, and around 1:30 -2:00 a.m. the hubby's pager went off. (he's a volunteer fireman), So, I couldn't get back to sleep because it was an actual fire they had, not a medical call. Around 4:30 I couldn't stay awake any longer and dosed off, just to get up around 8 this morning. He finally got home at 5:30, then after half an hour, got ready for work, so he was kind of a bear on the phone today. Then he asked me to write down what he said for his report, and I got busy at work, so, being so tired, got angry at me. But, he was home and telling me this over the phone. Anyways, then at work, there was a meeting that didn't go everyone's way, which was a good thing, but had to hear about, and will keep hearing about for days. So I just got home and even before I ate my dinner(my bro has been staying with us and makes a mean meatloaf) I said to heck with it. I grabbed a beer out of the fridge, and logged in here.

There, that's been my day. Oh ya, got an email last night that I saw at 10:40 this morning that the inlaws were going to be back today from Florida, so had to rush over to there place to check on everything, only to find out there not going to be home now till tomorrow.

Someone has tried ot explain it to me, but just haven't had time to try it out. They were beautiful. Ok, so what all have I missed today.

Nope, Julie is, but it's for the London coupon group, and she's having it in a different town, about 20 minutes closer and not city driving, so it's only about 40 minutes away for me. But, I got 2 envies ready for any mew members showing up, and I'm bringing some munchies, and I think a thank you hostess bag, for Julie putting this on. There will be Julie, myself, jessandjake,. princessd, and a few newer members. Plus, hopefully a couple others. The one other one i went to was nice, met up with Macsfight, jakeandjess, nvjenn, and another member.

I would enjoy that very much. I do plan on meeting up with some members this coming Sunday. We are doing a meet and greet and coupon swap at Julie leeds house. I think there's only gonna be one other member there that I have met once, and we found out that the 2 of us r related thru marriage.

Well I do hope ds is feeling better soon, and I really do hope you enjoy the meal out, and get pampered a bit (no dishes), lol.
