you know that work meal? Well I made it and it has ALL the spices that I love in a mixture. Cumin, Turmeric, ginger, garlic and cilantro! It turned out tasty!

fermented drinks are supposed to be really good for gut health I think? Personally I've never gone down that road. You might enjoy them though. All in all it sounds like a great afternoon!

it's strange ya know, nothing stopping me from getting a cell phone really ( financially I could ). I just feel at this point since we have the free landline ( included in tv/internet package ) and I never stray too far from home, it would be an unnecessary expense.
Maybe one day DH will just have to satisfy his curiousity and get himself one. I know traveling 1.5 hrs to work each way everyday he's mentioned how awful it would be to break down in the dark ( shift worker ) on the hwy and have no way to call for help. He has a point.

same old, same old around here. Got annoyed at Apple+tv raising their prices come December so I axed my subscription. That'll be $14.68 a month ( taxes included ) I can use somewhere else. next to consider cancelling is Disney. I've become spoiled by so many great series and animated movies on there. May take some deep thought before I let it go. Hey what's a kitchen day? Is this where you strap on an apron and don't leave the kitchen until you've batch cooked up 3-4 meals for the week? lol Have a great Daylight savings sort of weekend!

I'm such a fan of slow cooking a cut of beef. The flavour for me is best when I use a blade steak cut. I will look for your recipe! Night owl here, " napped " for hours earlier. lol

forget the first part of the message you typed, my mouth is still wide open in shock at both your parents ages and they still host a Thanksgiving crowd? Kudos to them both. If that isn't a real blessing I don't know what is. Now, one reason I was so happy about the reduction in hydro for you, is it kind of reminded me that people who may qualify to get this benefit probably never apply for it. You were so wise to try, I mean the worst they say is sorry you don't qualify right? Not that I am hurrying you to be 65 BUT that next savings on taxes will be so welcomed. guess what my sister is making right now? Chicken Adobo, I gave her the recipe. She and her DH loved the batch that I made them back during the whole covid lock-down.
Filling their freezer with all kinds of stuff was so much fun. That was our way of saying ty to them for sharing their Netflix and Disney passwords. We had it all free for about
3 years then they stopped allowing the sharing, so we subscribe now.

I ran the idea of them by my sister and she said " make them! " ha ha

Figured it'd be better, seems I forgot about the shooting pain post-op. Once that freezing wore off I entered hell.
Long story short, dentist faxed a script. over to the Pharm here. ( after I pleaded my case over the phone around 3 p.m. )
By then the guys had left for work, so insulted I had to "WALK! in the rain to get it....wah!!!
Wise to grab the bull by the horns to drop that 50 pounds. Once you've decided and stay focused on the health benefits, things fall into place.
You've got the benefit of being able and willing to exercise, that can aid the loss. I will be a cheerleader for you too!
Shhhh, don't tell my body, but it's been 23 pounds now! The less it knows about what I'm doing the better!! ha ha

yeah, I have temporarily ditched both the Mozzarella and the pepperoni on my pizzas. Instead I use both Mini Bocconcini balls ( I sliced them up ) and crumble a few grams of Feta...the feta adds the saltiness...yummo!
