Whew! It went off so much better than anyone thought it would AND I found out that it was my SIL who requested
this gathering as one of the 5 things on her wish list. Her sisters had asked her to name 5 things she'd love before THAT
day comes. Just incredibly emotional. Apparently another wish is to go to a casino! ha ha !!!
Lots of laughs were had and the buffet table filled with yummy Pot Luck food kept us there for 5 hours.

way though a Thrift store to try and find a nicer top to wear on Saturday. Have you ever heard of a Celebration of Life BEFORE the person dies?
My DH younger sis was given less than 2 months and her sisters wanted to embrace all that she is before that day arrives.
It may be a sad event but it's a pot luck at a Legion Hall so alcohol may change things? Enjoy your weekend!!

DH has avoided placing the roof panels on the gazebo and the privacy curtains around thinking we may still get snow....ha ha
The wind here scares me the way it moves the metal gazebo frame. It is screwed down BUT ya never know if they will hold.

thanks, have you ever been prescribed pennsaid oil? It's a clear liquid that he's to apply by drop fulls onto his shoulder and rub it in.
I was prescribed that many years ago for my arthritic knee pain. When he picked his up the Insurance Co said it's not a drug they pay for so
he paid OOP. Weird that mine was paid for but not his.

bwahaha!! yeah the PT is unlimited too bad there are yearly limits on chiro and other stuff.
DH needs PT on his shoulder, first time for that. His back is as messed up as most of ours are
but with his shift work hours I have no idea how he'll even make any appt's for treatment
on that shoulder. It's been such a nice day here...mainly because I've done nothing all morning, lol.

thank goodness for coverage on medical benefits eh? We have unlimited PT which is worth so much!

isn't it funny how members posts can often inspire us OR can have us feeling like " less than ".
I've had both emotions/thoughts happen. You rest today, after that grueling run ( which I cannot do! )

I now see exactly how the word normal was inaccurate for my situation. My biggest issue is the amount I can eat at a meal. Then eat again just because?
Both my sisters once they reached about 70 their appetites plummeted. Not in an unhealthy way, they just felt full sooner than in the past. I called in the Senior Appetite.
As I hover on 69, flipping to 70 in January I'm thinking my b'day wish as i blow out the candles will be " C'mon!! Senior Appetite !! bwahaha
