yup! also I used to be a real control freak about all my kitchen things, ( the cleaning is part of it, but other stuff too ) but now I have to just let that go and it does get a bit easier every day.

well after 35 yrs. DH really needs to stop expecting to be waited on. ( my retirement seemed to cause major guilt for me and I was allowing myself to become a doormat of sorts ) . Same with the grown " kids " , everyone here is capable to figure out what they want to eat, when they are hungry and to prep it, cook it and clean up after. I just put my foot down ( gently but firmly ) It is in ints infancy, we'll see how long this lasts. ha ha

with Giant Tiger and other places having bacon sales, I grabbed a few pkgs. so anyone here now can just cook their own up. ( re: my kitchen sabbatical as I call it ) the young adults here have stepped up to the plate and are actually cooking!! Nice change of pace I must say.

yes, I gave myself Sunday and had a bit of this and that which was NOT on my real strict eating list. OH the strawberries and whipped cream were amazing! I actually ate 3 strips of bacon too....but back to it now today. The fresh bread is just so tough for me, that is harder to give up than pasta or other foods with gluten. thanks for the encouragement!

yeah, it was funny the first store the guy was quite grumpy sounding,especially when i asked him a second time to clarify. lol!

hi...I just saw your post about the Rexall GC and 2 stores I phones both said you cannot buy a GC using a Rexall GC. Oh well. Hope that helps you to plan another way.

oh I did misunderstand, oops. Glad that was all it was for you. Because of my upbringing I have a black and white view of people drinking until they are wasted in general. It has improved a bit over time but my emotional scars will always be there.
