About the weight loss thread: I have tried desperately to take baby steps since last w/e. I have been downing bottle after bottle of water, like whenever I " think " I am hungry, I would sip, or see an ad on tv for fast food, I'd take a few gulps OR worst of all check out the food thread here!! Then I have to really talk myself down from wanting to bake something! Hopefully we'll all get back on track.

Thanks for the rep, however I've actually lost weight from being sick medication ruins your appetite. Just get in regular exercise and eat healthy is the best.

I am very glad for your good fortune amongst all that chaos.....our only power outage event happened in winter days before Xmas. ( I can barely recall now the actual time, I think we were out 69 hrs?? ) I'd be better off reading my old posts about it on sc than trusting my memory now, but it sure does bring a neighbourhood and community closer! The fire for those friends of yours would have been the " straw " for me!! About my absences on here, I just seem to fall asleep if I sit in front of this computer screen too long, so I have been really trying to do anything else BUT that. I've processed a few jars of foods and vacuum freezed others in bags, but not an overwhelming amount, just enough to play around with it all. The Blue Jays naturally have dominated MOST of my tv time. Enjoy the rest of the week!!

I got bitten 3xs and the stingers didn't come out till the next day when I pulled the scab off where they bit me---how can something so small hurt so **** much. Removed huge nest from yard yesterday.

oh I remember a guy I covered his walk while he was off and this one great big beast of a dog came sniffing around me and that was when the owner said " he is looking for the dog treats " apparently the other guy fed this dog all the time! I was so scared! Thank goodness he was a nice pooch!
