Had a GREAT Thanksgiving, although we had Prime Rib... Found a new way to cook a perfect Prime Rib. Turkey is good for me once a year... Not a huge fan... Hope YOU and yours had a GREAT Thanksgiving....

oh heartgirl! Turns out the joke was on ME!! The plastic wrapping on my turkey was not see through, but I have always bought " utility " birds because the only thing missing is usually one wing. Well....when I removed the wrapping imagine the shock to see this bird had BOTH his legs missing!! ha ha ha That is not a utility bird, but rather an amputation massacre! ( now I know why they wrapped these birds in thick white plastic, so no peeking allowed ) Anyways we all laughed about it, and I just roasted the 4 individual legs alongside his sad looking body. I looked at it this way, we were still UP by 2 legs. Hope you enjoyed your turkey holiday weekend as well!
