the w&g alarm clock... ahh, I can hear it now... I called my mum to find out where she bought it years ago and she had absolutely no idea but vaguely remembers using the internet googling brings up mostly sellers in the UK and a few in the US. we ended up giving it to my cousins but having this conversation with her made her realize she's never seen it around their house and made us wonder it's whereabouts; more or less sent her on a hunt. let us hope the heirloom was not sold in a garage sale unbeknownst.
