aw no fair! My sis is just like that, she keeps her chocolate in the freezer and breaks off a square to eat. I could not stop laughing when she said she just eats 1 or 2. Bravo to your types of personalities, I envy that control.

This was the first year we bought NO Quality Street. Reason? Well one year I bought about 7 or more as SDM I think had the incredible price ( around $8.00 i think it was) at the time. Huge regret on my part, I am not good at moderation when it comes to sweets, especially those. Well Xmas came and went, we gifted some away. THEN can you believe around mid 2012 I find a can that had fallen down behind a roastpan thing behind the basement door? We were all laughing as there had been cravings and we thought there was nothing here. So this year I just said NO. Now as Dec 2013 approaches I may change my mind again. lol

I'm sorry. I went into a blackout when I saw Quality Street! lol I went to the 5:00 movie alone and watched Broken City ( Mark Wahlberg)...it was pretty good! I will not say what I ate in the dark. lol

ha ha ty for the rep. Dinner was all cooked and in the oven on low, I had to just place everything on the table. It was so dang bad! ( I mean delicious but not all of it our diet food) Ribs, basmati rice, and grilled/sauteed veg and GF pizza. We kind of all woofed it back without much table talk, lol!

I was just reading a SDM brag, It is wonderful to get Bonus points for buying babies everyday needs. I so wish I did that when my 3 were young. lol

yeah, my DH has been a work in progress, he has been watching DD and I from afar since about March 2012! lol So for him to finally give in is amazing.
We all went to the show this aft. and none of us bought popcorn or candy! Very proud moment.

Good morning! Flu shot? I skip...always have. Don't believe in them, don't trust the people in charge of them. So far I have never really caught a flu, per say. Even when so many co-workers are hacking around me too...I was quite fortunate to have a great immune system. However, this thing I had, who really knows if it wasn't just a very bad cold, with some bronchial congestion thrown in? That is what they said on the news the other day. They say many people SAY they have the flu only because it happens to be flu season, when it technically is something else completely. Either way, I am better thanks so much for inquiring.

no one can lift a sc members spirits ( or their DH's ) like us!! Well thank goodness whatever I had I am sure it is gone...Thursday I woke up about 8:00 a.m. went downstairs and hurled FIRST thing! I was thinking?? wth?? There was really nothing to vomit, since dinner the day before was around 5:00 p.m....ugh!! But after that last upchuck, not one thing since! The congestion is just hanging in my chest, but today I am eating good so I feel much better. I am sure it is gone ( shhh, don't tell it I said that, lol)
