our toss-up was between a new table set and a new tv.. i'd love a new tv, but the old one is suddenly behaving itself.. silly thing knew it was about to be replaced

ugh, i know all about that.. we can't afford a new kitchen table, but had to buy one anyway.. the old one was totally done for.. one of the braces that held the legs on was completely cracked, no repairing that sucker.. so dh and ds went down to the bay on tuesday and picked one up that we had been looking at.. it's cute, i've never had a round table before.. all white, it's pretty we get it next wednesday

Thanks Nancy, diabetes runs big timne in the hubby's family, as far as I know, my mom was close, but this is the first real issue in our family. WE all go from heart attacks and stokes. I keep warning him about the starches, and how they turn into sugar, so that is really limiting him on certain foods. Bread, pasta, potatoes, stuff like that. Then there's even natural sugar to stay away from. He's gonna talk to someone to help set him up with the do's and don'ts.

They are cute, they cost $1.25 and i just clean them and refill them.

maybe i'll run into ya there i'm playing the part of lazy person right now though, not sure when i'll motivate myself to get out there.. bloody cold

He's gone today for tests. They can't figure out his sugar which is really really high, but he has been having problems with his pancreas and they wonder if that's what's causing his sugar to jump. He keeps getting a pain on his right side, which may be liver or kidneys, so they got him going to a bunch of tests for sugar, stress tests, you name it, they got him going to it. So it's fun trying to arrange a babysitter when he's away plus since he dosen't drive, rides back and forth. But overall, he's much better than he was last week. Thanks for asking Nancy.
