Click on the "go advanced" button beside post message. A larger message window will open with lots of smilies on the righthand side. Below all the smilies click on the "more" link. A separate window will open with all the smilies that are available, with the instructions on how to type them out in your message or you can just click on the smilies and it will automatically be added to your text. My pet peeve is the cellphones! I have never had one, never will. My 23 yr old in second yr Univ. finally bought his own, and pays every month for it cuz I will not. I think I feel older than most 55 yr olds because I was born near the end of the clan of 6 six kids. All but 1 of my siblings are older ( my parents had the first in 1947 ) They were kinda strict too, prudish too back then, nowadays anything goes, but we had very tight "do's and don'ts " on our behavour that was enforced.

I am 55 yrs old, and I do not have anyone close to me ( friends or family ) with even 1 tattoo or body piercing, so the whole process is odd to me, but it is because of the era I was born in I guess. ( geez, my older sisters got ragged on for trying to dye their hair as teens, and it wasn't like they were dying it purple, just regular colours)
I see it on lots of people everywhere now, so I am becoming used to it I guess.

ya, if they are uncomfortable about you going to their house, maybe suggest a coffee shop to meet at. It sounds like such a fun " meet" , you know it is so amazing how much better we feel about our own lives when we help others. It is just the way it is.

Hi, we had that Snow in the Mountain at one of our houses, started with one tiny plant, then eventually were able to make little hedges of it along the walkways, was pretty, makes a nice border, but can be very invasive. Have fun gardening!
Noticed your post about not getting the flyers, we don't get them here either, went to the recycle depot last week and in one of the bins were lots of flyers all bundled and never delivered, what a shame.
