Glad to hear things are going well with the course That's super cool that it's a condensed one; I always hate when courses seem to drag out, especially when you're enthusiastic to do the work and get through!

I am on a tight deadline for my advisor - I need to have a full, front-to-back, draft of my thesis to her by March 31st. (Yes, it's a Saturday, but that didn't seem to bother her ) It is crazy, but I am thinking that I'll be able to rest and breathe a bit on April 1st (although that's probably an April fools' joke that I'm playing on myself!!) That, and I've got a research contract for which I've got to get a bunch of work done by March 20th. In short, I just seem to sit in front of the computer and type, type, type! Gah! I am soooo looking forward to spring. At least, with St. Patty's Day here, I know it's on the way.

About my teacher, you KNOW we will write all about this in our course review. We pay way too much money to be treated like elementary school students.

About the bridging to RN, your idea sounds like a plan. When you get your first job, your employer may have education funding money set aside, so you could probably work out a work + school schedule with them. Employers get a tax break for education funding.

I am paying for my tuition. But I get x number of days off work each semester of school. Just have to show proof of grades. Just have to promise to stay with the company for x number of months after the last course they gave me days off for.

Win. Win.

Congrats on your school tests. That's great.

My teacher is not so great, but I have to do this course. She marked us lower ( 5 people) because our margins were off by a 10th of an inch. Whaaaa? What about the content of the essay?

Anyway, she got so much negative comments that she has softened. By one tenth. LOL.

We get to evaluate her at the end, and our evaluation goes to the Dean. Power to the students! Hehehe.

Before you know it, your courses will be finished and you will be graduating.

Maybe in time to enroll in the nursing degree program. Pushy, aren't I? LOL.

Glad you like the course.
For the people who are going to make it hard for you and the rest, try to stay far, far away. Ignore them. Scope out the best students and try to stick with them. Remember your age is your advantage now. Whatever tricks the "grinches" try, you've been there already and know how to deal with them.
