thanks for the rep -I am hanging in their a bit of lack of sleep as I am thinking about my daughter sometimes -but have her here with us for a few days makes me feel a lot better

Every week seems the same in retirement, but I am deeply saddened by the event of May 26th. I never read of Loocie's passing until today. Thanks for posting that, she certainly never stopped her battle.

Just finished doing the lawn, with the humidity it sure was hot, but took 3 breaks which helped.

can you just imagine the poor residents on Centre Island? All 3 Islands are affected now it seems. Apparently the flooding got way worse from yesterdays non stop downpour. We feel so blessed not to have any flooding problems here.....whew! A nightmare to live through I am certain. TGIF!!

See if you can slip ginger (ground or fresh) into some soup soon to see if you get a break in your cold/cough. I'm seeing on Twitter the marvels of drinking celery juice. To me, a can of V8 juice is tomato celery juice with too much salt. Is the air warm outside where you are? 20min ought to help give you a change of scenery. May you feel super duper soon!
