Oh, gosh.....I'm very familiar with those arthritic joint pains that keep us shifting from side to side all night because of the pain in our hips...I tell my hubby that I've been doing the "seal thing" all night...rolling over and over; it's not fun and I'm so sorry you, too, are burdened by that. Lack of sleep sure doesn't help either, does it? Do you have any good drugs that give you any relief? I have a standing order with my doc for months of pain relief; he knows I don't take advantage of them, but that when I need to take one, it's really, really needed.
I hope you can sneak a nap in today, Hicks. I'm off to my first physio appt at the hospital this morning for 8am; it'll be interesting to hear what they say about my new predicament..

Hi, Hicks! Well, it got worse...I found myself peeling sunflower seeds and giving every single one to her for a while! Lol! Kids. What we won't do for them!
Between you and me, I'm living on pain pills. I'm trying to space them 4hrs apart, but those last half hours can't go fast enough. I'm very nearly in tears every time. I see my physiotherapist at the hospital in the morning, but knowing her: "if it hurts, don't do it", I have a feeling it'll be a while before I see her again. I can't use my knee muscle at all...it's amazing how we take certain muscles for granted....
I hope tomorrow is a warmer day for you, for heaven's sake.

Good morning, Sweetie....sorry you're so cold this morning...we're okay here, 19 now, heading to 22 later, 26 tomorrow, so I still have the air conditioner going here. Imagine if you had to turn the heat on in July!?!

Hubby's golfing Timberwolf this morning with our SIL, and I have bunch of guys here digging up our driveway; Jenny keeps asking me (yep, she goes to 'her' chair in the window, but instead of just going up her stairs, she stands there whining for me to sit in the chair with her...spoiled, much? ) to join her on her chair, and I did fir a while, watching the bulldozer, but it's just too uncomfortable for me for too long. So here we are, on the sofa, sharing sunflower seeds. Yes, I 'peel' the odd one for her, too, but she seems to feel it should be one for her, one for me, etc, lol....

i haven't been outside yet, the house is nice and comfortable, but i have to go out soon.. not looking forward to it

My little girl is Kiki, She's 13 now but going strong. She totally hates men, always bites their legs it's really funny. The big guy is Buster an Lasso Apso, He is a very lethargic guy wouldn't move if a gun went off but if you have a treat he sure can move his butt. He's 15 and has a lot of health issues, pills alone cost us over $120.00 a month. That is a lot but I just love him so much. I hope all is getting better with Jake.

It was a fine weekend! Got some online time in yesterday despite a long walk. A minivan driver was turning into my path while I had the pedestrian signal so I said something harsh that a nearby car with youngsters inside heard.

Good morning! I'm going to stop my incessant complaining, lol! But wow, I was dis-heartened this morning, worrying about tendon damage; I wish my surgeon had told me what to expect as far as recovery is concerned! I think I may just call Avon to complain, and chat about her new step-grand-daughter, lol!

So, more weeding for you today, or have you more exciting plans on your agenda? I have to live vicariously through you people!

guess what just happened? Chatting now with comatose DH ( who got in from work earlier ) and I'm discussing the w/e like it is already HIS!
( I somehow thought " oh yeah it's Saturday " ) and at one point he blank stared me and said " uh you know I work tonight right?, it's still Friday " .....ooops! So because of all the recent rib talk from Lynn, Nat and you I am now thawing 3 large packages of them and will bake later in sauce so they will have a nice meal to take in ( I am only cooking these up out of guilt! ha ha ) Enjoy all your weeding, I wish I cared enough about the ones we have, gave up the fight long ago, ha ha .
