I have some friends who do not have pierced ears and my mom and I had our doen way back in 72. she has since let her close up. she has never been a jewellery person except for her wedding rings... and a necklace.... I am sure you know to use surgical steel if you are not going to use gold or silver. some people are prone to infections if surgical steel is not used! Can you send me pic or post the earrings once they are created? I really want to see them!

They are funny creatures aren't they? I went outside to water my tomoato plant which is humungous ( I was told it would get to a certain height.... and coud be kept in the large pot it came in.... We have transplanted it twice and it is growing like crazy. Unfortunatery the 1st blossoms that beagn gowing were hit with cold temperatures and I had to get rid of them. Anyhow, Lukey came out with me on the deck... and I had to pull him in. My office is near the front of the house so I wouldn't hear him if he was screming to come in... I keep my house between 74-75 mainoym because of upstairs. My ceilings are high and it makes the upstairs higher and that much warmer. My offic ealso has 3-4 computers on all day.... so it gets warm here... still no complaints from me! I do not think you are nuts...the heat is your preference.

Thanks for the rep my friend. Do yoyu have AC in your condo even though you do not use it? Humidity and I do not work well together! Lucky was begging to go out on the deck so I klet him and he wasn't 1/2 way out when he backed up in a hurry... Enjoy your evening!

Sass obviously had problems and drinking was the tip of the iceberg. Everyone has problems! The way someone handles them or not makes all the difference. I am not familiar with Zappacosta and that could be because I grew up in Montreal. You gave your tickets to Cirque to your parents! You are so kind! you are so giving...
As for my daughter, she will be perfectly fine agt the concert and enjoy it it too. We spend a great deal of time together an always break into fits of laughter.
I think my first concert was Alice Cooper. He was an alcoholic back then but you wouldn't have known it. He quit by taking up golf! Imagine that!

I never cared for Sass Jordan, or even Alyna Myles, & KD Lang still creeps me out. When I saw her at the Olympics, I wondered, where they dug her up from. So many incredible Canadian artists abnd they chose her..The show Wednesday shouild be an awesome show. My daughter on the otherhand... is not thrilled about going... I told her that 'grandma' never went or took me to any concerts, so there are evens she will see and down the road.. she will appreciate it. I had wanted to see Santana, but she didn't want to go. I am hoping to win Black Eyed Pea tickets. We both enjoy their music! As for you Andi, you are humble... and you do desreve to win those tickets. Cirque will be an incredible show.

I am glad you are feeling somewhat beter.. It seems that some colds these days knock even thouse with stronger immune systems. Judst take it easy and don't do too much too quickly... I did that years ago and had to get cat food after beeing sick for 4-5 days. It took all I could tom get home , feed my kitties, and then back to bed. My cats then were quick to come to my side and stayed with me all the while I was ill. Honey helps to ease a cough as does codeine/222. I do hope you are feel as normal as possible quickly!
My 2 fur balls didn't react at all. Could be with all the noise from my neighbour's yard they got used to the noise and shaking.. ?

Hope your feeling better today, I searched the Waves fest yesterday, looks neat. But a small setting, how does everyone fit in there, are these things usually full or slow paced, I was thinking of going there today, or to Young & Dundas but it'll probably be busy and I'm so tired, was out all day yesterday, went to the mall, did some shopping, and then came home and did laundry.
