no Costco is within our area. I'm not a member anyway., but that price is good compared to what is out there at Metro, WM, FB and NF.

my DH is kid of like a BIG kid. He insisted 2 years ago he wanted a fancy waffle maker ( even though we had a perfectly functioning one, a simple flip open kind ).
I bought him the fancy one that Christmas and OMG, whenever I make any using that machine they turn out similar to the large thick ones you get at a buffet!
    He cracks me up sometimes.

lol!!! I just now read your post about having 3 tv's ( all gifts! ) and yet you are not much of a tv watcher. Isn't that the way? Why couldn't a couple of those gifts have been
something you really use? Enjoy your evening.

ya know part of the old me would have kicked up more of a stink about the radio/CD player fiasco, but maybe I AM getting a bit too old. Why waste my breath on it.
Plus, I still have to go to them the next time something else goes wrong so I would hate to have burned bridges. Why didn't I marry a mechanic?? ha ha ha

Thank you, I’m quite fine now….73 and apart from aches and pains, still kickin’. ☺️ You’re very right to avoid any products from there, and heaven knows I can still recall the excruciating pain I endured from that, what seemed to be, a ‘safe’ decision! Stay well. Barbis!

The General Mills scarf promo was the end of last year. 2 codes from a specially marked box would get you a free scarf. There were also codes on old El Paso kits or snack bars, however you couldn’t mix and match codes from different sources. There was a limit of 4 scarves per household so I ordered one each so we (me, dh, ds1, ds2) could all have a different one. We got all of our codes from family sized cinnamon toast crunch because my kids eat a tonne of it and we go through at least one box a week.

edit to add… I got the old El Paso taco scarf, dh got the cheerios scarf, ds1 got the nature valley tree scarf, ds2 got the lucky charms scarf. They are actually quite nice and decent quality. I usually don’t have high expectations especially after the super cheap low quality beach towels they had several years ago.

ty about the Balderson tip at Costco. A coworker of mine used to fill that craving for us as she had a membership, but we're both retired now and don't see each other in person anymore. The best I get now are small AM offers from Metro. ( 6 AM on any, so I bought a small net bag of 6 individual pieces for DH to shut him up ) lol!!
    kidding.

I don’t have an Amazon Prime account, but I know that prime days are this weekend. Do you think I’d get a significantly better deal on a good quality food processor this weekend?
