Wind hasn't been as bad here as you've had it. It only hit about 80km here, but bad enough to make walking really uncomfortable.

I just wrote cheese stick I think lol. But I kept thinking mozza myself. Someone I know made deep fried cheese sticks using brie and said it was the best cheese sticks they ever ate.

mornin NS! ( short for newfiescreech, lol ) we are having a gloomy rainy-ish day here today, haven't walked my dogs as yet, still dark out. I saw something on the tv ( entertainment ) about a new musical called Come From Away ( about what the residents of Gander NL did for the many passengers on planes that all landed there during 9-11 ) One of the songs from it was on a CBC show called simply " q ".It was SO good, gave me goosebumps! Hope you stay warm and snugly today and don't have to work too hard!!

Well, um....it's a good thing you're not wasting your time... I remember having energy like that once upon a time. I do want to volunteer somewhere, feel useful but honestly the thought of meetings just puts me in a coma; I've been there, done that for so many years, I'm done with them. And with the way I'm walking etc, physically I'm not much good at doing stuff right now. I guess that's part of old age...not feeling terribly useful anymore. However, YOU, my dear, are making up for my shortcomings, even if you are a gazillion miles away!

Lovely evening, I found the movie, Shirley Valentine on line and watched it again for the ohhhhhh....I can't begin to think how many times I've seen it! It's such a great movie...funny, poignant, charming...and a brilliant ending; have you ever seen it? I emailed the links to Walks and Hicks today and I hope, hope they watch it!!
With wine, of course.

Thanks hon. Also went to the Ash Wednesday church service last night. The wind was so strong, it kept blowing the church doors open. We eventually had to lock them up, after we were sure that every1 that was coming, was in. Boy, it was cold today. The wind chill was -19. It felt even colder because we were getting use to the warmer temps.
Anyhow, enjoy the evening, or what's left of it.

and ya know what else? When we gabbed, it felt like no time at all had passed since I last saw her. Got that warm fuzzy feeling again....ha ha.

guess who I ran into while shopping this a.m.?? One of my all time favourite Mom's from when our kids were young, I hardly see her anymore and guess where she is from originally?? Newfoundland! ha ha ha !! We had a nice catch up gab session and many laughs.

You are certainly one person I couldn't keep up with; way too busy, but I love it.
Yes, had pancakes @ my church. Hugh crowd there - wonderful.
