Rain off and on here all day. Aunt gave me a ride to work. While at work I was about to go quickly to food basics and it started pouring lol but I did make it a bit later.

Oh, my goodness!!! 11 hours?! What did he have done that took so long....? I'll send up a prayer for him before I turn in...we're heading for camp after breakfast tomorrow, but I'll make some time to head over to the rec centre and touch base later tomorrow...hopefully you'll know more then.

good afternoon. Yes wet is exactly what I was, dashing from my door to vehicle to stores, back out again, I finally tossed the umbrella and just let the drops have their way with me. Did a silly thing in the Metro parking lot though ( a brain fart on my part ) as I pulled into a rare empty spot near the front of the store.
It was beside a large solid white van, never thought for a moment till I came out and realized my only option was to back out blind! ( no way to see through his vehicle ) I actually contemplated sitting and waiting for someone to move, but instead I hopped out with the vehicle still on and in park, ran to the end of his vehicle, looked to see if anyone was coming, it was clear! I jumped in quick and back ed up, whew! Oh ya it was pouring at the time too! ha ha

I have NEVER owned ANY type of cell phone at all, DH neither? We just felt the whole idea was a bit " showy " making everyone think they are so important they have to be available 24/7. Now, however I do see the advantage of having one for emergencies but so far I have not given in. I would do it IF I could get rid of the land line, do not want 2 bills. The dogs really did not want much of a walk this a.m. One of them did not even do his business, just tinkled despite me extending the walk for him, so I will have to go back out at some point. That visit to your friends pool with some wine sounded like a great way to spend a humid day!

yeppers! I used the GC my sis gave us. There is a spot that asks how do you want to pay and they show both a GC spot and a Promotional code spot. Pick the GC one. You enter the number of the GC and the pin and then they have it on file and they just deduct from it any movies you rent. Then if you use the GC at the actual theatre it still works there if you have enough of a balance on it. Since no computer hooked up to your tv, it just means you would watch the flicks on your desk top or lap top. Hope it works out for you.

remember these rentals ( or buy ) movies are viewed through your computer, or tablet, but we have a computer hooked up to our large screen tv, that is the reason I like this method.

You register first, then I think I entered my Scene card number ( somewhere there is a spot ) so every time you rent or buy a flick you will earn points ( and there seems to be a 2x the points promo on right now! ) I NEVER buy any, I'm too cheap.
