I am not sure if I ever mentioned this but NONE of the women in my family when I was growing up drove a car. ( in other words MY role models ) so as a result I never considered it something I needed to do and we lived right in the City ( think downtown T.O. ). My parents never owned a vehicle although my dad was a truck driver but I was 39 when I finally learned to drive! My DH had never ever pressured me to, he liked to drive, said it was np at all. Also at CP when I started you did not need a license to be hired, although you do now. We are in the burbs so I think that was the push I needed to get it after slogging the 3 kids on the transit all the time when DH had the vehicle at work. It is their problem to come to terms with, ( to drive or not ) I have suggested it to the 2 of them many times but so far nada! Sad loss for the Jays tonight, I blame Gibbons for putting Osuna in out of order! It messed him up I think.

both of my youngest only have their written one for I.D. purposes. Neither of them want to learn to drive, DD did take the YD in class and private road lessons but chickened out to book the road test. She says what's the point because she will never be able to afford to have a car anyways. I have told her she MAY get a job that provides a company car?? Ya never know and wouldn't that be a shame if you lost out getting the job because they require that you drive? I'm working on convincing them. Oh and no way are either allowed to use this vehicle, we only have the 1, just not worth the risk if anything happens to it.

I watched Russell Martin slap that HR with no effort, whereas JD seems to huff and puff when he swings, he needs to chill a bit.

sniff, sniff, agreed! We took her out for lunch and tried the Swiss Chalet Rotisserie roast beef ( new on menu ), and it was lovely but I love the prime rib roasts we make here better! ha ha Jays played a great game tonight! Donaldson needed that HR in the 9th to lift his spirits a bit.
