oops, sorry did not see the message here, just your rep comment before. Our local Public school picked the worst day to hold their annual Fun Fair. I mean rain is one thing, but this was a torrential downpour! Poor bouncy castle and other things they set up, I hope they managaed to make a few bucks at least. I was white knuckled driving back and forth on the 401 with there and back dog grooming trips, a No Tax date with RCSS and later DD working. Oh well it is all just another memory now, man I feel sorry for people who have to drive long distances for work regularly and experience these road conditions more than they'd like to. ( quite unnerving )

I actually felt sorry for the Ducks for losing that badly. Where were they tonight?? The game was kind of a letdown for me, i wanted a nailbiter!!

well it is warm out there today but yes Sunday the temps will make us feel like we have moved to a much chillier climate. Just waiting on my guys to come home from work right now but something tells me they detoured to a restaurant for breakfast! Enjoy the w/e hicks!

I never had the time or patience to get too " invested " when I was working because the games always ran late ( esp OT games ) and I had to rise very early for work. So I am loving this!!

did the Jays win? I only ed it on the tv for a second and it was 3-0 at that time. So another do or die hockey game tonight! last nights was both terrifying and amazing for the Rangers. Soon it will be just 2 teams and 7 poossible games and then I can come back out into the land of the living....ha ha

Raining like crazy here. Of course I leave home and the rain had slowed way down to nothing. Just my luck though within a 1/2 block of leaving home it rains the hardest it has rained all day. By the time I got to work i had to go to my janitors room to wring my shirt out lol. 3 block walk feels like I jumped in the pool.

hiya hicks! no complaints about this Vic Day weekend!! Weather has been the best! My dogs were hunkered down in the basement with me most of the night so they could not hear the fireworks going off all around our area. I can never understand the people that spend so many $$ to burn those things? We are NOT an affluent area, how can they afford them? lol Hope you are feeling better and hope your weekend was relaxing!
